Las instalaciones están muy decadentes. Se puede resumir diciendo que le sobra una estrella… o dos.

Un poco anticuado

Las humedades ,la manguera de la ducha salia agua por todos lados,el jabon malisimo,la tele muy pequeña,

el hotel es cuatro estrellas ,pero solo tienen recepcion 11 horas al dia.
no me gusto que escribi a traves de esta aplicacion para solicitar aparcamiento y nunca se me contesto asta que ya estabamos en la habitacion,el sitio es popular por la playa y el aparcamiento un dolor de cabeza.la persona que nos atendio no fue muy dispuesta a dejarnos aparcar en el apacarmiento del hotel que estaba vacio,
habiatacion n5,cama extra grande compuesta por dos colchones,pero uno de ellos esta para tirar a la basura,duermes encima de los muelles ruidosos ,terrible.los enchufes de la habitacion se salian de la pared,mala instalacion.al mover una silla habia una mancha de humedad enorme y la pintura dañada por ello,en el segundo dia una gotera enorme en el pasillo de las habitaciones que aun estaba cuando nos marchamos en el tercer dia,No tienen desayuno en el hotel y en su propia cafeteria que abre a las 1030..les faltaba parte de la carta.el pan tostada que nos sirvieron era pan de barra bocadillo del dia anterior que se rompia de lo viejo que estaba...malo malo malo,..en resumen mal mantenimiento y servicio de hosteleria pobre,no se merece 4 estrellas

Falta servicio de desayuno

This was by far the worst hotel I stayed in during my 2-week trip in Spain, despite being advertised as a 4-star property.

Check-in was poorly managed. Even though we had agreed on an early check-in time, we still had to wait. In fact, we were left waiting even beyond the official check-in time.

The condition of the hotel is significantly outdated and poorly maintained. The overall state of the building and rooms feels neglected and does not reflect a 4-star standard in any way. There was also visible mould in the room, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene.

Overall cleanliness and maintenance are well below what is expected and what is advertised. The experience felt misleading compared to how the hotel presents itself.

Considering the poor quality, the stay was not worth the price paid (over €200) and feels highly overpriced for what was delivered.

I would strongly not recommend staying here.

Chrckin/checkout limited staff and options

The room looked fine at first but after we got settled in we realized there was water leaking from the ac. It was in the hall right in front of the door. Everytime we came in we passed a puddle of water. We couldn’t turn the lights off or on without getting our hands wet with putrid water. They didn’t have anyone there to fix it. When we asked for another room they said we could move to a hotel 20 minutes away by car in a less desirable neighborhood. We already had unpacked and checked in and had a reservation for the Guggenheim. We didn’t have time to drive to another town.
The parking situation is also difficult. It’s hard to find street parking and we needed to have the front desk manually open the lot for us. The front desk are gone for 4 hours mid day so we couldnt get back into the parking lot for 4 hours. We paid for a hotel with parking so we could enjoy the hotel, travel to the Guggenheim then enjoy the beach for the rest of the day. We ended up staying out all day in Bilbao and paying for an expensive lot in town because we couldn’t park in our hotel lot once we left. The hotel was generally in bad shape. We also saw a huge wet spot on the carpet outside another room so is assume ours wasn’t the only room with issues.

Desayuno

The closest Metro stops are a 15 minute walk away and are up steep hills or a lot of steps depending which you go to. There was a heatwave with temperatures of 37 degrees Celsius (nearly 100F) when I was there which made the walk a little far, although in normal Bilbao weather it would be fine. Also, there are not many restaurants etc. close by, you need to go to Algorta or central Bilbao.
