This property canceled our booking at the last minute!
The location is great, close to the beach and multiple restaurants. 15/20 minutes taxi ride from the airport. The room was huge and had a balcony.
The wifi speed was bad after 8 pm, and sometimes the router needs to be reset
Staff very good, breakfast simple but perfect for us, clean accomodation, airconditioner, transport to airport a bonus. Very good value for money.
Pool water not clear ? needs filtering. No fridge in room.
The resort is in a great location to the beach. Krishanan was very friendly and arranged airport pickup. As a table tennis player, I was happy to to go with Krishanan to play and meet other like minded people. If anyone looking for a friendly stay in Negombo, I highly recommend Leighton Resort.

Hotel zlokalizowany w centrum Negombo. Pokój duży w bardzo przystępnej cenie. W cenie noclegu jest transfer lotniskowy - to bardzo duży plus hotelu.
Basen nie zachęcał do pływania, dwa stare leżaki - rzeczy do poprawy
Sehr Sauber, alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Ort zum wohlfühlen, der Frühstück ist traumhaft.
Location was nice. I chosed the place by location to places I want to go and free shuttle from the airport. Definitely it’s nice that has pool but would be much better some small breakfast in this price to enjoy it 😊
The rooms are big but would be nice if it would be updated, place has potential if it would be more modern. The big windows are nice but you cannot take curtains off because everybody can see you from lobby, stairs pr other room - close to entrance.

Hotel provide free airport transfer which is one of the reason we book this hotel. Location is good, walking distance to the beach. Free parking in front of hotel.
The room that we stayed has very loud noise of water pump. Whenever someone use the toilet, the water pump will pump the water and it's very noisy.
Le personnel est très sympa et réactif à mes messages. C'était notre première nuit après notre vol et nous voulions quelque chose de facile, et confortable pour se remettre sur pied.
Ils sont venus nous chercher gratuitement à l'aéroport, ce qui est un plus pour se faciliter la vie.

Die nähe zum Strand und zu vielen Restaurants. Für eine Nacht vor dem Rückflug/bei der Ankunft zu empfehlen.
Late checkout gegen Aufpreis möglich, wenn Zimmer nicht gebucht sind.
Der Pool war dreckig und nicht zu benutzen, obwohl er 'gereinigt' wurde. Zudem kein Platz für Sonnenliegen und alles im Schatten. Lieber ans Meer gehen.
Neben den üblichen Geckos und Moskitos, leider auch Kakerlaken und Tausendfüßler im Zimmer.

We loved Leighton Resort, particularly the location, which was in a quiet road, but very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The staff were all lovely, helpful and very friendly, which was appreciated at a difficult time due to flight cancellations. Although simple accommodation, it was very comfortable with a lovely breakfast.
A fridge in the room would have been nice, but we were able to put things in the main fridge.
