Pros:

Locatie aan het meer was leuk. Uitstraling bar was erg leuk.

Cons:

Bed was erg smal. Badkamer vinden we matig. Zwakke douche straal. Zeer oude toilet. Douchen in een bad. Ontbijten moet op een tijd met beperkte mogelijkheden worden afgesproken. Maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding is echt heel matig. 194 euro voor een kamer als deze kan eigenlijk niet..

Prima locatie om te overnachten, maar eten doe je liever ergens anders.
Pros:

De locatie aan Loch Long was mooi. Vlakbij de Loch Lomond en de Trossachs. Het bed sliep prima! Lekkere wijn.

Cons:

Vooral het restaurant en de pub. Het personeel was ongeïnteresseerd, bij het ontbijt op dag 1 (9am) was de koffie niet lekker, de lekkere broodjes op en weinig keus in broodbeleg. Dag 2 (7:30 am) stonden er al 4 potten koffie klaar en was er eten genoeg. Avondeten was ook matig. De tafels waren plakkerig. Pand was slecht onderhouden.

Lovely old style hotel with lovely decor, nice friendly staff and food seemed generally very good (although could be improved)

Cons:

'Cottage' Room was very small with no windows to look out other than bathroom skylight/roof window. The only window in bedroom which could be opened was situated directly behind the tv so not very good.
To sum up, some visitors may find this type of room really quite claustrophobic and personally it was not worth paying £186 for one night for 2 adults, even though breakfast was very good.

Nice place
Pros:

Room was clean, bar and restaurant has a great vibe, staff attentive and pleasant.

Cons:

Menu needs some tlc, food was nice but a lot of dishes had cheese which I dont like so didnt have much to choose from on a 5 night stay. The interesting meals were on the specials board.
