Fantastic stay around Loch Lomond area.
Pros:

Fantastic location - right on the banks of long loch, with beautiful views of the Cobbler mountain.

It was a great place to stop for the stop with Scottish charm.

The view from the room overlooking the loch was brilliant! The food was great, as was the music. Overall it was a great place to stop on our road trip.

Pros:

Très joli et typique. On a beaucoup aimé l’hôtel. L’insonorisation est très bonne, le petit déjeuner est excellent. Le personnel très sympa.

Two pleasant, comfortable nights. Beautiful place, the Inn is old and traditional in a good way
Pros:

Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast very good apart from no muesli, not much fresh fruit. Amazing location. Didn't have dinner there so no opinion. I'd go again.

Cons:

Cheap loo paper! Also see above for breakfast. Slight mix-up with booking as it had changed hands shortly after we booked. Breakfast not now included. Not a serious issue and soon resolved.

Clean room, average pub food and accommodation for the price.
Pros:

It was all pretty average.
The water was hot.
Tunnocks chocolate tea cake in the room.

Cons:

Cold room, dripping shower valve that was difficult to modulate, no curtain or blind in bathroom, every expense spared with breakfast offering. View of the backyard. Need two hands to open the door, not ideal when carrying luggage.

Village Inn Arrochar
Pros:

Excellent village hotel/pub. Plenty of on site free parking with the outdoor seating area overlooking Loch Long. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Rooms were very clean, beds extremely comfortable with lovely clean bathrooms.
The beer is excellent and not that expensive. Stayed three nights , food was very good with very tasty breakfast. Would definitely return.

Stay was adequate as we only did 2 nights but overpriced and will not stay again.
Pros:

Food was ok., breakfast was very good. The 3 staff we saw were all pleasant but looked like they wanted to work elsewhere. Management to blame. Plenty of on site parking.

Cons:

At dinner the salad items were poor. The room was a good size but very cold. Bathroom should have had a different window covering ie Net as blind was old and dirty. The whole place needed a revamp but I appreciate the cost would be high. Very noisy during the night with people in and out of rooms in the middle of the night, intoxicated.

Gorgeous little place, good bang for your buck!
Pros:

I expected this stay to be a cheap and easy night in the national park, having stayed in quite a few inns around Scotland. However, I was really impressed with the standard! The staff were so lovely and accomodating, the room was clean with tea, coffee and even tea cakes and caramel wafers provided. The whole Inn was decorated for autumn/halloween which was such a nice touch, we really enjoyed our stay! Dinner was normal pub fare, parking is right outside and plenty. Very happy!

Cons:

Only concern is the windows are starting to rot from weather - not an issue just yet but does need seen to soon!

Quirky and very Scottish hotel

Cosy small hotel with a nice local atmosphere.
Comfortable and good heating system. Breakfast and evening meal were nice.

Cons:

My room in a separate building at the back had two windows, both with opaque glass so nothing to look out on.

Beautiful quiet location, relaxing atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, lovely spacious room and en-suite bathroom, big comfy bed. Amazing breakfast, perfectly cooked with quality produce. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended !
