Uriges Abenteuer (leider nicht positiv)
Pros:

Die Lage ist wunderbar, das Anwesen und auch das Gebäude selbst sehr malerisch und authentisch. Zimmer sauber, Parkplätze vorhanden.

Cons:

Zimmer extrem warm, Fenster lassen sich kaum öffnen, in keinem der Zimmer 9,10,12,14,15 funktioniert die Lüftung. Am zweiten Morgen kein Warmwasser!
Der Service ist sagen wir mal gelinde stark verbesserungswürdig. Vegetarisch bestellt und dennoch Fleisch erhalten. Generell wurde keine Bestellung richtig bedient... Schade drum. Daher nur für max. 1 Nacht zu empfehlen.

Beautiful location ..food just needed to be fresher.
Pros:

The beautiful location. The room was quite small but nicely put together.
The bar was well stocked with some very fine whiskey..
The staff were lovely.

Cons:

Unfortunately the food was very average.
Hunters chicken came in a dish which I think meant it was premade and reheated. It was very rubbery and dry.
The fish and chips were small and again it tasted like it had been precooked and warmed up. The batter was flat and all a bit over cooked. For £20 it just wasn't good enough.

Prachtige ligging maar niet perfect
Pros:

Prachtige ligging, mooi terras, leuke pub en goede bedden in de ruime schone kamers.

Cons:

Je kon merken dat het eigenaarschap is veranderd. Details waren wat minder. De keuken was ook niet meer wat het was.

Fantastic location and view, but much improvement needed in the cuisine - I'd eat elsewhere.
Pros:

Super location, our room was spacious with a great view over the loch. Shower over the bath was excellent. Staff were helpful, but possibly lacking experience and training in some cases.

Cons:

Evening meal was adequate, nothing more, we were not offered the specials we found out had been available. There was a large dinner party which the staff struggled to cope with along with the bar area. Cooked breakfast in the morning was shocking. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, as did the lady sat next to us. Something was very wrong with this dish - bacon was vile - and none of us ate our food. The table next to us asked for a boiled egg for their child, the server came back from the kitchen saying the cook said no, that is not on the menu. A poached egg was provided as an alternate, but boiled eggs are hardly haute cuisine or challenging for a competent cook. Nothing wrong with the cereals and pastries available, but I did not see anyone finish their cooked food.

basically all i can say is WHAT STAY!!
Cons:

Maybe if after paying only a few days before we hadnt had to turn up to find the hotel completely shut down under renovation and then had to find somewhere else to stay for 6 people I might have had better things to say about it.
