A nice stay with excellent and friendly staff. Old town is fun but late night scene is not pretty.
Pros:

English style breakfast done well. But the English are not much on fresh fruit and lighter fare, so if you want the "full English " this is for you.

Cons:

Swindon needs to get a fix on noisy drunken behavior in the streets. With a room at a pub I fully expect noise, comings and goings and a fair bit of action late when pubs close. I've seen it in many places but Swindon has this issue in excess.

The real British life
Pros:

Gezellige echt Engelse pub.
Lekker pub food en goed gelegen om uitstapjes in de omgeving te maken.
Geen geluidsoverlast van de pub.

Cons:

De kleine kamer, is erg klein. Verder wel schoon en goede bedden.

Pros:

Large room, comfy bed, nice bathroom and it was very clean. The location is very good.

Cons:

Early morning club revelers shouting woke me up, but it's to be expected at this location, and it's really not that bad compared to other hotels where there's a club nearby.
