Séjour mitigé
Pros:

Chambre très correcte, propre et confortable. La salle de bain rénovée assez grande, belle douche. Pour l'eau chaude, on repassera...

La localisation, juste en face de la gare

Cons:

Problème d'eau chaude. Cet élément apparait souvent dans les autres commentaires et se confirme. Douche à peine tiède. Quand je fais la remarque, on me répond que c'est parce que je suis au 5ème étage et qu'il faut que je fasse couler l'eau plus longtemps. Très limite comme excuse. Outre le problème de confort, se pose la question sanitaire (légionellose).

Le petit déjeuner, une véritable honte ! un jus d'orange, un café Senseo et 2 "croissants" (si on peut appeler cela ainsi !) industriels préemballés. Le tout pour 7,5 € ! Je ne suis pas difficile mais un morceau de pain ou un vrai croissant serait le minimum.
Le 2ème matin, petit déjeuner au café /restaurant juste à côté : pain frais, confiture, croissant, boisson chaude, jus d'orange pour 6,90 €. Dommage que je ne l'aie pas vu dès le départ.

Pros:

The location was quiet central

Cons:

Old motel vibe. Heard sounds the entire night
Very, very old school. Very tiny. Weird colours bedding, walls and shower curtains. Smells bad. Lifts and old and dodgy. Definitely a hire per night venue

Pros:

Very good value for money. Cheap, clean enough. No luxury but very good for the price. Next to train station, all good apart from not providing free luggage storing on checkout day.

Pros:

We had such a memorable stay at Grand Hôtel De L'Europe during our anniversary trip. From the moment we arrived, the experience already felt special. We had mentioned that we were really looking forward to making the most of our time in Paris—and the hotel truly delivered.

Our room had the most incredible view. We could see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and Sacré-Cœur all from our window. It honestly felt surreal. Even when it rained, we didn’t mind staying in because the view alone made everything feel cozy and magical. Being able to explore Paris during the day and then come back to enjoy the city lights from our room at night was something we’ll never forget.

The reception staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the location was perfect—right next to Gare de l’Est, which made getting around the city so convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

There were just a couple of minor inconveniences. One night, some kids from another room accidentally set off the fire alarm, which woke the whole hotel, and on another night, there was some noise in the corridor. The room itself is on the smaller side, and the elevator can only fit about two people at a time—but honestly, we felt that added to the charm and authenticity of staying in Paris.

Pros:

l'emplacement proche des gares et du métro

Cons:

la chambre est décrépie, on sent que personne ne veut faire de travaux d'amélioration. on met des affiches pour cacher les murs degueu par exemple.
salle de bains minuscule.
pas de menage fait le premier jour, pas de tapis de bain.
mais surtout, le gardien de nuit est très désagréable. c'est le pire aspect de mon séjour.
