Hotel Amigo del Mundo was just what I needed in El Calafate. Close to downtown and to the bus - walking distance from everything. Economical, clean, comfortable, quiet. The breakfast was nice and complete. I would definitely stay there again.

An excellent location plus nice staffs.

Simple yet effective place to sleep for a night or two. The bed is decent the pillows are sleepable but could be better. Surprised how nice the free breakfast was. Overall a good deal for the price

Highly recommend

Very convenient place to stay while prepping for a trek in the mountains. There is a supermarket right around the corner the bus station is just a few blocks away. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was especially nice and prepared us well for our trek!

Close to bus station which saves a lot walk after hiking so much, very new and in great condition. Friendly staff. Hope to have a electric outlet near the small desk lol

Stayed here twice - one stay was in an older room and one was in a newer updated room. This hotel was away from the central area of town which I liked because it is more quiet and less chaotic than town center. Takes about ten minutes to walk downtown. Breakfast provided every morning and had a good selection of items to choose from. The bathroom in the older room was small and could use some improvements but the bathroom in the newer room was quite nice. This place is a no frills but comfortable option for the price point in my opinion. All of the staff were very nice as well.

Nice staff. Rooms basic but very adequate and comfortable for the price. Large breakfast selection. Close to downtown but away from the chaos and noise - about 10 minute walk to downtown.

The staff was excellent. Our flight was delayed by 16 hours and the staff helped us arrange a taxi with an English speaking driver/ guide to Perito Moreno. So we didn’t loose. During my 2 nd stay , they allowed a late checkout by 2 hrs. The bathroom plumbing could be improved. Decent breakfast. Stayed twice and will stay again. The bus station is less than 10 minutes walk.

Excellent staff and allowed 2 hrs late checkout. Receptionists spoke English. Decent breakfast. Near bus station, easy under 10 minutes walk. Property in Good condition. My second stay. Only issue like many others in Argentina is bathroom plumbing, could be improved. We will stay here again.
