waited over 30 min for someone to come to the desk to check us in. Room wasn't ready at 4:30pm. Finally got in there, Toilet broke, frig broke, coffee maker broke and no towelsor wash clothes. Moved us to another room. Bed spread burnt up all over by a iron. Coffee maker spit hot water 2 feet in the air. Plus they didn't give me my deposit back after they inspected the room and said they would return it to my account.

I will never stay at this place again.
Pros:

The staff, Amanda , and the night lady went out of their way to make sure that my stay was good. I commend them for their hard work.

Cons:

The room window was so foggy I could not see anything, there was no soap or shampoo, the lights didn’t work over the sink, and the TV said “no signal “.

check in was ok, staff was pleasant. room had two beds and that worked out as we had two people. the ac was very cold( a little clunky sounding all night, but very cold)

Cons:

at check in there was delay in finding a "ready room". we got there at 4pm. like many others mentioned, the exterior doors do NOT lock. the smell of weed is overwhelming, in the hallways and stairs. The room was a little better, less weed smell. once in the room cleanliness, or lack thereof was immediate. pretty dirty overall. cigarette burns and stains on the comforter, stains on the sheets, etc. one towel for two people. no shampoo or soap in the room. a quick vacuum around would go a long way to clean it up. the smoke alarm was missing, wiring hanging out of the ceiling.

The jacuzzi bath tub and the gambling machines

Cons:

They had roaches in multiple rooms, gym was closed, and the pool was closed, it's an indoor pool, shouldn't need to be closed, they double charged deposit, and aren't giving deposits back out even though rooms are clean, staff was beyond unfriendly and sarcastic. All in all, the worst stay at amerihost I've ever encountered

Pros:

Pretty shady people hanging around. Room had no towels and when we got some they weren’t regular size towels, they were much smaller.
Actual room wasn’t bad but the place is getting run down.

the gals at front desk were great. I could smell smoke in hallway & up to room. I wondered since smoke garbage can just outside door if it smell was from there. i asked about doors being locked at night & they said not available. Sunday 9-28 @ 0200- heard people in pool outside door & no they were not quiet.

Night from hell.

I checked in at 6:45 and didn't get into a functioning room until after 8.00. The door would not lock. Instead of just putting me in another room they spent almost an hour fixing it before they prepared another room for me. Lights between beds didn't work and smoke alarm was missing . It was a terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone. Supposed to be getting a complete refund. If that fails to happen I'm going to corporate. Wes Henderson

This property was uninhabitable. After checking we went to the room, and it was terrible. Towels on the floor, bed unmade and stained, trash in the room and an odor of mildew.
WE Left immediately. I asked them to refund the $153 on my credit card. If that is not done I will stop payment and contact the Chamber. I have pictures. What was represented at booking through pictures was fraudulent and not accurate. I wouldn’t let a dog sleep in that room

They charged me a $50 PER NIGHT deposit.
Pros:

This place is a dump. Also, they charged my card a $50 PER NIGHT deposit and still need to credit my card. SO no I am dealing with this crap.
