Thin walls, inaccurate listing
Pros:

GMF is a very cute town so it was nice to be able to see this area of Colorado!

Cons:

Others have mentioned that the walls are thin so the rooms are noisy. I didn't quite realize that it would mean that we could hear the guests nextdoor sneeze and blow their nose. Could also hear the guests in the room above us flush their toilet.

Also, the listing on Booking says there's a hot tub and a bathtub in the room. There was not a bathtub in the room and the hot tub was broken. There wasn't a host/front desk so there was no way to resolve this issue. You do have to text a phone number to check out so I brought up this up after we checked out (I had sent a message through booking that was never received). Although the person I texted with was super nice, it's now over a month after we were told that we would receive a partial discount due to the false advertising and that hasn't happened yet.

Wonderful stay, beautiful location

I loved the location, GMF is a beautiful destination. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Loved the hot tub!

Central location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, galleries, hiking. The neighboring lodge location offered a large patio fire pit, fully stocked kitchen and dining area, and wraparound porch with comfort rockers, and a Mountain View with quaint Victorian Lake Park area!
