It was so clean! and the suite had everything we needed and more .
The staff was excellent to help clean up when someone dropped a drink and kept the breakfast nice and stocked.
Excellent breakfast!!
There was no one at the office during the night and when a disturbance broke out no one was there to handle it so we ended up losing sleep to handle it. fortunately the violence remained between the family causing the disturbance.
Location was great, I stayed here for how close it was to wolf creek ski basin. And the room was cozy over all I enjoyed my stay.
Our cabin was quaint and very quiet. The bed could have been better but fit the rustic feel. A supply of coffee and condiments for the bill.
There is no office staff to handle your concerns and orient you to the property. We were there two days before we discovered there was free breakfast every morning.
Perfect place for heading up to wolf creek, nice breakfast spread. Everything has been updated and seems like maybe new owners (?) The updates are very nice and the rooms have comfortable mattresses.
It's way outside of town, we picked it for that reason and it's good for travelers to know.
The natural surroundings were nice, but it is close to the road, so a lot of traffic noise at times.
The breakfast was not good. We arrived an hour before stated closing time, and the food was basically gone. No attempt by the staff to provide any more. It was WAY overpriced. The room was very small. The chair collapsed when I sat on it, and I'm not a big person. For $300/night, I was expecting much better accommodations.
Breakfast was enjoyable. Food was good, and a good selection. The music was a nice touch.
The facility use to have a cabin like atmosphere. The cabin feel is completely gone from inside the room. It's lost it's uniqueness. It use to have an office with very nice owners who would talk to you. They had a couch and a place to play games and read and it's now gone. They use to have a wonderful homemade breakfast and a large dinning for the guests. Now it's just a continental breakfast like every other small hotel. They use to have large baskets of flowers hanging from the ceiling at the entrance. They are all gone. there was no staff to talk to should problems arise. Very impersonal. Bed was a brick and the couch was a brick. Their is value in the changes but it lost so much if you had ever been there before.
I met one of the cleaning ladies.....extremely helpful!
Check in autonome.
