I can not make a comment about the hotel because when we arrived the hotel was not taking any bookings and our booking had been cancelled without us knowing.The owner had a sister hotel which we had to stay in which was fine

Wir sind im Januar angereist. Das Zimmer war eiskalt. Wir haben das Personal darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Sie haben freundlich reagiert. Das Bad hat schon bessere Zeiten hinter sich. Es war aber alles sauber. Frühstück war gut und reichlich. Kann man als einfache Unterkunft durchaus empfehlen.

Enge im Zimmer, "kein CI-Modul" im Fernseher, sehr gut: Frühstück schon ab 6h30, freundliche Bedienung beim Frühstück

Really nice Hotel. Staff Friendly and rooms comfortable.

But the best thing by far is the food, do not bother booking anywhere else in town to eat. Stay and eat here, you will not be disappointed, a small menu but all cooked and served to perfection. Over our stay we sampled 6 different dishes ALL of them perfect. Very very reasonably priced, I have paid double for a similar dish, that was nowhere near as good.
After both meals we looked at each other in disbelief as to how good the food was and how quiet the restaurant was. They deserve a Star from somebody’s guide. Thank you so much.

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr gute Küche, gute Lage

Stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Good location, just outside the city centre, about 1,5 km from the old city, so at walkable distance. The hotel is a short bicycle ride from the SaarRadweg, about 1,5 km too. The hotel is in a quiet environment and has a nice garden and terrace. A drinks trade is next to the hotel and a Netto supermarket at the other side of the street. We had a big, clean room with balcony. The balcony needs however a deep cleaning and it was a pity there was no furniture on it. The bathroom had signs of wear and tear, e.g. it was not possible to close the window in the bathroom and there was some water coming out from under the toilet. Breakfast is OK without being outstanding. Very cosy garden, a nice place for the lunch and food was tasty and the wine was yummie.

We verbleven er 2 nachten. Rustig gelegen hotel, even buiten het centrum, op een korte fietsrit van de Saar-Radweg. Je kan te voet naar het centrum wandelen. Drankenhandel naast het hotel en supermarkt Netto schuin tegenover het hotel. Ruime, nette kamer met balkon, echter zonder terrasmeubels. Het balkon kan een grondige poetsbeurt gebruiken. Het hotel begint ouderdomskwalen te krijgen, bv ons badkamerraam kon niet sluiten, er lekte water van onderaan het toilet... Zeer aangenaam terras in de tuin, waar het lekker lunchen is. Goed ontbijt, dat er echter niet uitspringt.

Kamer ruim genoeg en compleet. Klantvriendelijke ontvangst, fietsen konden in de garagebox, ontbijt was goed & compleet en met vriendelijk personeel.

A very good, family run hotel. They run it with pride. Very friendly staff. Excellent cleanliness. Really good German cuisine for lunch and supper I really recommend you take at least one meal there. A very good breakfast. Lovely warm happy decor in dining room, and the cotton table linnens and settings tip top. Bedroom and ensuite bathroom super clean - and cleaned each day. Perhaps a little dated in bathroom, however all the rest of the hotel more than makes up for this. Friendly garden terrace to enjoy when the weather is good.

Einigermaßen OK

Das Hotel liegt in einer nicht ganz so hübschen Gegend von Saarbrücken, das ist aber eine Ansichtssache und daher auch nicht weiter von Belang.
Jedoch ist das komplette Gebäude, die Zimmer und hier vor allem das Badezimmer, sehr antiquiert und dringend renovierungsbedürftig.
Was aber nicht heißen soll, das entsprechend viele Gegenstände kaputt gewesen wären, auch waren die Zimmer soweit sauber und wurden täglich gereinigt.
Das Personal kann ich nur als sehr freundlich und engagiert bezeichnen. Das Frühstück hat für einen verwöhnten Gaumen vielleicht noch etwas Spielraum, für mich und meinem Kollegen war’s stimmig und passte.
Für die Lauffreunde unter den Gästen, kann ich das vom Hotel, gut 1km entfernte Saarufer empfehlen, hier können Km „gefressen“ werden

Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Einfache Ausstattung.

Sehr nettes Personal und sauberes zimmer. Frühstück war auch gut gewesen, der Frühstück tisch war schon vorbereiten gewesen man wurde dann auch gefragt ob Rührei Spiegelei und gekochtem ei was auch frisch zubereitet worden ist. Was mir nicht so gefallen hat war das es im zimmer kein Kühlschrank hab was bei warmen Temperaturen gut gewesen wäre und das man bei schönem wetter angeboten word draußen zu frühstücken

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel/Restaurant Bruchwiese war angenehm. Die Ausstattung ist zwar nicht mehr die Neueste, allerdings ist alles immer sauber und funktioniert! Ich hätte mir etwas mehr Auswahl beim Frühstück gewünscht, aber das ist auch mein einziger Mangel.

Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, jede Frage wurde beantwortet und man fühlte sich gut aufgehoben.

Wer mit einem kleineren Budget reist, kann hier durchaus gerne und komfortabel übernachten und wird sehr gut betreut.

Really friendly staff. Lovely terrace restaurant, as well as welcoming inside restaurant. Food excellent, and quick service. Very comfortable. Spotless. Very helpful staff. Lovely residential and leafy green area of city.
