Location fantastic, Breakfast - ate a cooked breakfast the portion size was small definitely not enough sausage, bacon and beans.
No where to have a drink, we didn’t dine there could do with a bar area for non dining guests.
The breakfast was great, so much choice and really good produce. Very tasty.
Great village hotel. Oliver who had just taken over the hotel was so helpful
Breakfast for the following morning was requested the night before. Would have preferred to have a free choice on the day.
location and the reception
Lovely hotel staff and location.
No bad points.
The room was lovely and clean , like the fact that they were a bath , cosy room
Breakfast was lovely, well looked after
There wasn't anything we didn't like ,however, we couldn't turn the light off in the so had to take the light blub out and the fire exit light was very bright and annoying . On returning back to the hotel we couldn't get ourselves back in , you have to go through the door at the side of the building which it does say in small print on a notice and am sure the young man did say ,but at the time I thought he was just pointing the fire exit to us , other than that we had a lovely stay
Great Breakfast. Excellent Restaurant food. Fiona and team friendly and helpful.

A very comfortable family run hotel who make you very welcome
Personnel was welcoming; rooms really comfortable and the environment lyrical. The restaurant menu is elegant and delicious! You will love your stay.
No criticism
Like a home from home very comfortable
Great hotel. The gentleman staffing it was terrific. The facility was cozy & welcoming & fellow travellers were delightful. The town was less busy than others a few miles away & that was welcome relief.
Nothing.
We liked the hotel, the staff were excellent. The food was very good.
Everything was good, there is nothing not to like.
