JR Siam Kata Resort

Clean and beautiful hotel. Swimming pool was nice to relax. I'd come back next time

This was not a great experience. We switched to this hotel because the beds at our $10/hotel were a little hard and the WiFi was spotty. We arrived at JR Siam and were put in the farthest room from the lobby. This wouldn’t be a problem but the WiFi didn’t work at all. The tv didn’t work either and the beds were even more uncomfortable than the rocks we slept on at the previous hotel.

We brought the WiFi up to the front desk and they assured us someone was coming out later. We arrived back at the hotel that night and the wifi still wasn’t working. We asked again and they offered to switch us to the closest room. The WiFi worked in this room but the hassle we had to go through in order to get it working was frustrating and inconvenient.

Overall not a great experience, will not return and do not recommend unless you stay in a room where the WiFi works and you don’t mind sleeping on hard beds.

For the money it's the best place.

Will stay next time again

We book 4 persons in a room, but the family room only have 1 deluxe + 1 single bed. Room air cond is warm but staff manage to change room for us. Staff is friendly and overall is good.

Generally not bad. Bed a bit hard and the air conditioning quite noisy. Wifi signal also did not reach my room which was furthest from reception.

Gefallen hat mir gar nichts. Kein warmes Wasser in der Dusche, WLAN war mehrfach für einen längerem Zeitraum nicht verfügbar. Nachdem auch noch die AC in meinem Zimmer versagt und von 6 Arbeitern bei zwei Versuchen nich repariert werden konnte, habe ich mir ein anderes Hotel gebucht. Die verbliebenen Nächte wurde mir erstattet, aber auch nur nach längerem Diskussionen. Die positiven Bewertungen sind gekauft. Für jede Bewertung gibt es ein Geschenk...

Nice hotel. Ok location. Desk staff nice. Room was not cleaned or the bed made once during my stay.

I would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel, staff very friendly and hotel very pleasant. Me and my friend only intended on staying 2 nights as we were traveling around but ended up staying a further 3 nights! Good location for cheap eats and not miles away from the beach. I would recommend you check this hotel out, if your planning on staying in Karon beach area.

Blev ikke hentet i lufthavnen. Måtte derfor finde en anden løsning og kunne ikke få noget retur.

Det var ett riktigt fint rum. Här kommer jag defensivt bo igen. 15 min promenad till stranden.

They did not have a family room available when we arrived so moved us to another hotel half an hour away for 1 night. Even though we booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child they only managed a room with a double bed and one single bed

This hotel sent me an email at the last min and told me they have changed my hotel, but when I arrived the place they told me to go, the staff doesn’t not know anything about the arrangement. the room they moved me to is so much smaller without bathtub.

3回目の宿泊で、今回は新しく出来たというドミトリーに泊まってみました。
ドミトリーに宿泊していてもプールやアメニティを使えるところ、清潔さやスタッフなどは個室と同様のサービスが受けられ、カタビーチに近く、格安でリゾートステイが出来る感はすごいですね。
もちろん個室の方がゆったりとくつろげバスタもあり、ムードも上質でしたが、ドミトリーも各々のベッドではプライベート感があり、プラグやちょっとした物置き、ライトなど使い勝手をしっかり考えられていて、快適に滞在できました。ケースバイケースで、ドミトリーもおススメ出来る宿でした。

This time, I stayed at Dorm. It’s my third staying at the resort. Each bed has private atomospher, plug, light, and a tiny shelf to put your smart phone or something. It was so convinient. Also you can use the pool, amanity as a guest of the resort even when you can staying the dorm with very cheap fee. It is really value for some cases I think. Ofcouse private room was more luxury, and chill. But the dorm was fun and convinient. Anyway it locates near Kata beach and the resort itself has high quority. Every time was good staying.

The breakfast was non existent. We had to help ourselves in the kitchen but only found bread with no butter and two satchets of jam so had to buy our own breakfast elsewhere. The room was spacious which was good but the bathroom constantly stank from bad plumbing. The area was fine, walking distance from everything you needed but wouldn’t come back here again

Very friendly and helpful staff, big room with a big and clean bed, nice balcony and pool, aircondition and TV. 2 bottles of water, shampoo, bath gel, conditioner, dental kit, cotton buds and shower cap included. Some corners of the bathroom could be a bit cleaner. But all in one, it is a very recommendable accomodation.
