A perfect stay , very comfortable like my home .
Pros:

Loved the decor very much, nice colours very easy on the eye . Location was great and also close enough to hear the bells of the cathedral .

Spot on in the right spot
Pros:

This was a lovely experience. You park in the yard of the hotel which is in the medieval centre of the town, you meet a pleasant individual (the owner?) who shows you to your room, you get a town map and advice as to where to go eat/sight-see and come back to a lovely clean bed in a nice room with a window that opens so you can have fresh air overnight. Breakfast was perfect.

Fabulous
Pros:

A warm greeting on arrival with help to take our bags to our rooms. Rooms were tasteful and quiet, they were of a size to be expected in a period property but contained everything we needed. Breakfast was splendid. Parking was provided. Overall a marvellous experience.

Excellent venue for a stay based around the town of Bury St Edmund;s.
Pros:

A comfortable hotel with a friendly, pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast room was airy and spacious. Breakfast was excellent with table service and cooked on request and with a large choice of alternatives. the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very near the town centre but in a quiet location.
