Pros:

Nice location but staff didn't seem to have any knowledge of how to run a hotel. The rooms were not well maintained. The TVs were missingin one of my 3 rooms and didnt work in the others. The staff didn't even know how to check reservations that were confirmed and paid in advance. It took an adittional 30 minutes after a stressfull drive. There was no toilet paper or bankets in the rooms. The Breakfast included, restaurant staff didn't understand what was incleded and had to contact the manager to get more than a dab of corned beef only. The pool was more of a pond with algae growing in it. This was totally mis advertised. They are in over their heads. The location is great and the beach is beautiful. That is about it though!! Beware if youre expecting amenities and bring all of your needs.

Pros:

There was NO running water. Had to use a hand held bowl to wash and to flush the toilet. Roaches beyond what may be considered reasonable for a tropical environment. Air conditioner not well maintained and in bad repair. Very laid back staff. Dog feces in the tiled common areas. Unsecured dive gear storage area. This is very alarming for the safety of the equipment and would put a diver at risk! The reservation included breakfast, however breakfast was never provided. Very disappointed and upset about this resort that is on a very good location. The condition of the facility and the lax staff need to change. New management could turn the place into a very good destination. As of now I recommend NOT coming here.

Bad water
Pros:

As soon as we arrived I tried taking a shower. The water that came out of the shower/faucets smelled terrible. So I let it run for a while to no avail. It smells of septic tank. The whole room reeked of foul odor. We were transferred to another room—- no wifi the whole 2 nights of stay. Staff were all good and accomodating though.

Old building ; not well maintain; dirty rooms
Pros:

I loved the area however the hotel is old and not well maintained. The room smells like it’s infested with roaches. Toilet won’t flushed. As far as access to the beach , it’s excellent. The staff are accommodating however it seems like they are running the place by themselves. The staff are not even expecting us coming.
