Cons:

We paid $175/ night and our room smelled like marijuana and dirty sock. We went on a cruise the next day and all of our checked bags were opened and searched. They were delivered with a “K9 audit” sticker on them because the smell had transferred to our things.

In this hotel room, our kids were walking on the carpet and their feet were black shortly after. The plaster in the pool was chipped badly. Several dead frogs in the water. The property as a whole needs a renovation.

Listen, I’m not a Karen or a complainer. Just want to save the next family that books a hotel in the area. Don’t stay here.

It was our first time in the area, and we enjoyed our stay with Sleep Inn ans Suites, Ingleside, Tx.
Pros:

Staff were great and very attentive, we enjoyed control of the room temperature, and everything was kept clean, even with the Sahara winds blowing sand all over the place. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cons:

The only thing we can think of that we didn't care for was the poor water pressure and the time it took the water to get hot. It wasn't enough of an inconvience to report to the front desk. Oh, and we were surprised to find no toilet lid covering the seat in the bathroom.
