Cons:

Thought the breakfast was overrated. Milk was not cooled well. Pastries were not fresh. Fruit bowls were excellent. Need a shuttle service to the airport.

Beautiful hotel, smells terrible.
Pros:

Restaurant onsite is great, food is phenomenal and prices are great. Hours to restaurant are so nice for late travelers and even early risers. Breakfast isn’t complimentary but it’s ok, the buffet style breakfast is not expensive and is free for kids.

Swimming pool is great and so are the hours of availability. Staff is very friendly and try to be as accommodating as possible.

Cons:

The hotel is overpriced and unfortunately it just doesn’t meet the standards for the price point.
Nice design for the rooms, but the smell is horrific and it’s every room. They are aware as well. Their answer to this is, it’s Nampa, it’s the location by the freeway, the sugar beet factory, and sewage lines, and the sewage lines get flushed every Thursday so it’s stronger smelling on the weekend. Our room smelled like someone urinated on the bathroom walls. And when I brought my issue to the staff informed me of this known issue and moved us to another room, that still smelled, maybe a little less but at that point I had already spent a night in it so I was acclimated to the smell. There was no offer to decrease my room rate (almost $500 for two nights)!!
Seems that for such a known issue they would have an automatic resolution in place as well as not charge such high prices.
Beware if you have a sensitive sniffer… the smell is horrible.

Pros:

This Hotel was above and beyond our expectations, worth the extra cost. It Has a modern / rustic decor. Our room was very clean and comfortable & spacious with a wall thermostat in the rooms. The breakfast, there was a small extra cost, but it was amazing: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, fresh fruit, bottled juice, Chobani yogurt, oatmeal & cold cereal. Thank you Holiday Inn for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

An easy visit to Nampa

Sound Asleep In Luxury
Pros:

The location is very convenient right off freeway. Their are multiple resturants within walking distance like In-N-Out Burger. As I walked into the room it was already nice and cool! The room has a lot of space and very clean! Oh my gosh, the sheets, blanket, and pillows were so comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you sign up for their rewards program you can take advantage of their late check out of 12:30. The only complaint I have is in regards to their curtains, which allowed too much light in.
