Classy, Clean and City vibe - a must stay!

The Via Hotel was fabulous as always! ⚾️🧡 It’s our favorite Giants getaway spot -relaxing, clean, safe, and the perfect place to make those San Francisco memories.

We love grabbing drinks at the rooftop before and after the game. The views of the city are absolutely killer, and the vibe is unmatched! 🌉✨ There’s just something special about sipping a drink, taking in the skyline, and feeling the excitement of game day all around you.

And the best part? We’ve bumped into so many Giants players during our visits -those unforgettable moments are what make every trip to The Via so worthwhile!

Huge kudos to the housekeeping team! 👏 The rooms are always spotless and beautifully cared for. Your hard work makes the stay even better. Can I also give a HUGE shoutout to the Valet team? Wow!! Exceptional customer service! They are the first staff members you see when arriving, and they hit it out of park! (Pun intended)

The Via NEVER disappoints… Giants games, rooftop views, great memories, and a little San Francisco magic every time. ❤️

Cons:

We come to The Via often and truly love staying here. The location, rooftop, Giants atmosphere, front desk staff and overall experience are what keep bringing us back.

I did want to share a couple of observations from our recent stay. We’ve noticed that some of the carpets in certain rooms are starting to look worn and could benefit from either a deep cleaning or replacement to keep the rooms feeling as fresh and elevated as the rest of the hotel.

The other thing I noticed during this trip on 7/10/26 was the Rooftop Bar service. The bartender (a younger woman with black curly hair) seemed either new or may need some additional training. She was helping another guest when we walked in, which is understandable, but we weren’t acknowledged with a simple hello, smile, or nod.

When guests are paying around $700 for a room, those small hospitality touches really matter. A quick greeting or acknowledgment makes guests feel welcomed and appreciated. Unfortunately, the interaction felt a little off compared to our past experiences.

Usually, the gentlemen working the rooftop bar have been fantastic -friendly, attentive, and great at creating that welcoming atmosphere we love about The Via.

We’ll continue coming back because we truly enjoy this hotel and the memories we make here. I hope this feedback helps keep The Via at the high standard we’ve always appreciated.
