Loved this hotel. It’s nothing fancy but clean, friendly, and has everything you need! Close to town and trails to the rest of the island. Located in a locals area. Great if you’re on a budget, want to learn to dive, or just hang out and watch the sunrise and set.
Overlooking the ocean, theres a deck to relax on the hammocks or rocking chairs and see the view. The center of town is 10 minute walk but along the way you can buy bakery goods, take a detour and take the scenic route around the island.
We had a wonderful stay at las palmeras. The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. There is no hot water and our toilet didn't flush well, but other than that we had a wonderful stay. We had a room with air conditioning and ot was definitely helpful on the west side, there's hardly a breeze, but there is a floor fan if you didn't book a room with AC.The food was good. The mosquitoes are out and about in the early evening, bring bug spray! The diving around the island is awesome, the snorkeling is great on the east side.
Basic room, but super nice people in a lush tropical setting a 10 minute walk from town.
Great location on the beach, fantastic breakfast, really helpful and friendly staff! The beds are really comfortable too. You can easily walk into the main part of the island near the dock if you're looking for restaurants and bars. Also located in a really safe area.
The staff who run this place are awesome! It’s a family run business and everyone is very friendly and wanting to help! We loved staying here and would highly recommend it!
Nice bright colors and nice garden setting overlooking the ocean
Staff were absolutely lovely. It was a beautiful and peaceful piece of heaven. Close enough to everything, and quiet enough to relax. Will recommend this to anyone 100%. Zero complaints. Thank you to Ida for her hospitality.
Clean hotel. Great food and cool atmosphere at the restaurant, short walk into the main area of Little Corn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying in a room with A/C as the fan rooms were quite noisy, as I am a light sleeper.
The hotel staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean. The hotel is a 10 minute walk through the village to get to the main town with restaurants and beaches. The hotel has no beach and is near a local bar that blares music until 1:oo am. It was difficult to sleep. There are not many hotel options. I would suggest staying on the north or east side of the island because they have beaches but it is a long walk to the main part of town.
Location is great. The only complaint is the beds are hard but are bearable.
Hotel was overall nice. Staff were lovely, location was great. Restaurant and bar were convenient and served good food. Only complaint would be the comfort of the beds - it was very hard, not great. Expect cold showers, but that’s standard for Little Corn!
This place SUCKED. It was in the ghetto. I did not feel safe walking in the dark to our hotel at night. It is off the strip and while nothing on the island is far, it is not convenient to local restaurants/attractions. Also, what the reviews don't say about the area is that panga's are not predictable. We have been stuck on the island for five days without anything to do due to winds. Prices are just like they are in the states. Lastly, the hotels.com price stated that it would be the final price we paid the hotel. When we tried to check out, there were all sorts of addl fee's and taxes they tried to charge us. We also paid double by booking online, in advance as to what people paid when they arrived. Suggestion - Stay at Sunshine or anywhere else.
I had a great stay with my wife and daughter, they are both NICAS. they have never been to little corn island and since it was jhordankas birthday i figured what a great surprise for her and mom.
we where all surprised at every aspect of the trip from getting rained on from the boat ride traveling from big to little corn, to our visit at las palmeras hotel. it is a very nice little paradise. excellent service clean rooms great little bar the food is more expensive than other places on the island but that's to be expected.
Tranquilos bar and restaurant is a great little place to eat and drink. and a 20 minute walk to the east of the island unravels a great experience to say the least. all in all a fun little adventure and my wife and daughter now have a memory they can hold dear.
Great value hotel. Room was cleaned daily and we were left with plenty of towels.
Maria and all the staff were kind, generous and made you feel so welcome.
We stayed here for 10 days in July 2017. We absolutely loved it. Clean, comfortable rooms, great hotel staff, and amazing location. Just a 10 minute walk from all the 'main' bars and restaurants. Mariano at the bar was welcoming & friendly, and Maria made sure we were comfortable during our stay.
I dived for a week on Little Corn and stayed at Las Palmeras. I cannot recommend them enough. Very cheap, but very clean. Beautiful trees, places to sit. Good internet. 10 feet from the beach and less than 10 minutes walk from all the dive shops. Decently priced restaurant right there that I ate at least twice a day. Above else, the staff is awesome. If you're a Disneyland Tourist, Little Corn in general isn't for you. It bugs me when I see other people leave negative reviews when the people at Las Palmeras put so much work in to give you a great experience. If you want a Holiday Inn, stay in the US.
This is a pretty new hotel and really great value for money. Staff is good. Food is great, especially the veggie pizza. Everything is super new! Location is out of the noisy part of town but a close walk in.
Great area, a short walk from the dock. The beach was small but right at the hotel front. The hotel is colourful and nice. The staff was great. The room had everything you needed.
