Important information:

Please note that the hotel can only be reached by aerial cableways from Kriens. The last ride is at 17:00 in summer and at 16:00 in winter. Please check the schedule in advance.

In summer, the hotel can also be reached by cogwheel train from Alpnachstad. Please check the schedule in advance.

The aerial cableways may be temporarily inoperable in case of strong winds.

The tickets for ascent and descent can be purchased at a discounted rate if you show your booking confirmation.

The à-la-carte restaurant is only open during the day.

Baby cots are only available upon request.

Please be aware that when booking more than 5 rooms or more than 5 people, different cancellation and prepayment policies may apply.
A deposit may be required at the property.

La posizione dell'hotel è bellissima. Siamo saliti con la cremagliera e l'esperienza è molto emozionante. Camere pulite. Calde. Insonorizzate.

Cons:

1) Il meteo: l'hotel è sempre stato immerso in mezzo alle nuvole (alle 5:30 del mattino) siamo riusciti a vedere un po il paesaggio);
2) il costo dell'acqua al ristorante (acqua del rubinetto visto che l'acqua del Monte Pilatus è famosa): costo SPROPOSITATO anche in considerazione del fatto che la cena è compresa nel costo della camera ed il costo della camera non è economico

Spectacular mountain top hotel reached via the iconic steepest cog wheel train in the world - breath
Pros:

We arrived June 19th for a weekend stay to celebrate my partner's birthday on the Saturday. He loved the Cogwheel train ride up to the hotel as he is a real rail enthusiast and it's steepest in world. We enjoyed stunning views all the way up and down during our stay. Train is free if staying at Hotel. Hotel was clean with stunning views and once the last train down leaves at 6pm the mountain is left to just hotel guests which is quite exceptional- 360 degree views, quiet and in the morning Ibex wandering around, whilst great star gazing at night. Staff arranged for little birthday gift on our departure which was very thoughtful. restuarant is a beautifully ornate Victorian room and food was excellent. The half board stay was very good value for money.

Cons:

only slight issue was when night hikers climbed the mountain and finished their climb at approx 3am where they sat outside in earshot of hotel rooms - they were talking loudly and no staff around to police the situation.

Bucket list stay!
Pros:

Everything. The stay here was incredible. The room was luxurious, comfortable, beautiful views. The staff were so helpful and lovely. There was delicious food, great hikes, amazing views and being able to be there after everyone else left was the best.

Cons:

Wish some of the snack places stayed open a little later but that is such a minor thing because everything was amazing.

Pros:

Tout était parfait.
L'accueil du réceptionniste à notre arrivée.
La chambre cosy et agréable.
Le repas du soir (plusieurs choix) et le petit-déjeuner.
Le climat en altitude, juste parfait.
Je conseille aux gens de se lever tôt, on a eu la chance de suivre des bouquetins.

泊まって満足
Pros:

宿泊しなければ楽しむ事が出来ない、夕焼けと翌朝の日の出。高度2100m位の山頂から360°見渡せる景色。スイス旅行にとって是非組み入れたい宿泊観光地でしょう。

Cons:

急ぐ旅程では組み入れられないアクセスかな？夕刻の明るいうちに到着し、夕食後も明るい。
