Pros:

The hotel is in a superb location. We ate in the restaurant on the night we stayed and the food was imaginative and varied. Breakfast was also lovely and extremely well presented.
Super staff!

A wonderful stay.
Pros:

A wonderful breakfast.
For dinner we had the wagyu burger and seafood platter. Both were excellent!

Cons:

Perhaps breakfast could start a little earlier, however i turned up early and was offered a coffee prior to the kitchen staff arriving, which was appreciated as i had failed to ask when breakfast starts.

Great location with a beachside vibe in summer.
Pros:

Great location across the road from the beach. Comfortable room, friendly staff and good food with plenty of outdoor tables to enjoy the summer weather. Good breakfast which could be served outdoors.

Cons:

Car park is fairly small. No problems with accommodation, although relatively expensive for what it was.

Face aux dunes et nature proche de la ville : bonheur pur !
Pros:

Lieu superbe avec des vues magnifiques sur le port et les marais et petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Merci à l’équipe très sympathique et efficace, notamment Sam🙏🏻. N’hésitez pas à y dîner aussi : c’est copieux et inventif.

Cons:

Notre chambre donnait sur des tuyaux de ventilation qui disparaîtront l’an prochain… plus de peur que de mal au final.

It suited me completely. Opposite a stunning beach and very close to the pretty town of Southwold.
Pros:

I had booked bed and breakfast only. Breakfast was brilliant, cooked beautifully and excellent value.

Cons:

One really tiny thing - the bathroom mirror in front of the sink was hung so high it was useless to me. Not a huge problem and it could be easily put right.

Pros:

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the marshes. Quality drinks and snacks tray. Very friendly and welcoming staff and excellent breakfast cooked to order.

A little bit different, with a beach vibe going on. Friendly team on site and very relaxed with nice views and the beach directly opposite.

Difficult to shower in room 5, roll top bath quite a high step over for older guests..

Really enjoyed our stay and if we come back to Southwold wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again
Pros:

It’s not very far from town. Room was lovely, shower perfect, breakfast excellent.

Cons:

Bed was a bit too soft, we prefer firmer. That said we slept well.

Lovely location and room.
Pros:

Excellent room and bathroom - bed and shower both great, with lovely towels.
Location also excellent, just 10 mins walk to the centre, overlooking the marsh and right next to the sea (though view blocked by the dunes).
Food in the pub also very good and promptly served, even though very busy.

Cons:

Parking very limited - we had to pay in the adjacent public car park when we arrived in the afternoon - but we were able to move our car in overnight.
Breakfast not served until 9.30 every day. This is much too late for us - we like to get up and get going early - and we had to miss it altogether on the day we left. The menu and cooked food is very good but there is no buffet of cereal, fruit juice, fruit, yogurt etc, which we missed.
