Paid $96 for a $40 room
Pros:

This facility required no deposit which made checking in a breeze. Reservation was made online and room was paged for so all had to do was show my ID and pick up my key. Checking took less than three minutes

Cons:

The walls of the room seemed dingy and unkempt because of the awful hastily completed paint job. The trim had over brush strokes and gave the room sense of poor upkeep. Mattresses looked dirty and stained underneath the sheets. Could have blood stains or maybe a liquid was spilled. Sheets were clean but stained. Floors looked like they haven’t been mopped in months. The tv remote didn’t work at first and took it to the office. The clerk retrieved a remote from another room and that partially worked and had to go back to office and clerk had to come to the room to program the remote. Which she didn’t do because she enabled the whatever was preventing the remote from working she enabled the schedule guide onscreen with the office remote and the remote for the room started to work. The pillows were not supportive and extremely soft. Most likely have not been replaced quite some time. Notel 6 charging $96 for the room is indicative of their greed because overall I felt like I was in a hotel room in a third world country. $96 and there’s no coffee, no microwave, 3 pillows 4 would have been nice and complimentary shampoo and conditioner was absent. No coffee maker. Or the prices they are charging for a nights stay rhe room itself didn’t look like that money is being reinvested into improving the facilities

It is a place to sleep.
Pros:

The beds were comfy. The door locked and I felt safe once inside the room. Check in and out was smooth.

Cons:

This neighborhood is very shady. There were prostitutes and drug dealers in the parking lot. There were a lot of questionable people in the parking lot at 2:00 AM.
