I have stayed here many times. Location is central, a short walk from the railway station. They were able to give me the room I asked for, could not have been better.
Only thing, no water in the fridge. Not really a problem.
Great spot, convenient for the Pantiles & town
Nice character for a ‘modern’ hotel
Excellent location for exploring the old town and common.
Dropping off and collecting luggage was difficult due to very limited parking outside the hotel.
Location was great for accessing tourist spots around the town & great cafes & restaurants
Room type was not described accurately as there wasn’t a view for the deluxe double that we stayed in
While lifts are provided there is still stairs to navigate in the new wing. Step free access to the main entrance is at the rear of that building & it is not signposted
Very clean, modern hotel with all the amenities.
Friendly welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble.
Bed was comfortable and clean with a good sized bathroom.

Location
We arrived to find out we had to pay £12 per night for parking. After walking back from the car park, we were greeted by the receptionist. He was on the phone and asked us to wait while he tried to get us an upgrade. He put the phone down and told us an upgrade was not possible.
He then explained that there were a lot of stairs to our room. I explained that I had booked, because they had a lift as I was 8 weeks post knee replacement. He just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. We went to find our room which was Townhouse 5, up 5 or more flights of stairs. I found the stairs challenging, but was constantly worried that I would struggle to escape a burning building.
The room was small, stuffy and had a sloping ceiling. It had air conditioning, which was necessary. However so did the room under ours and we constantly had the humming noise of their unit. It must have been situated under the bed head, because when you put your head on the pillow, it was louder. A very disappointing stay and we would not recommend it to anyone.
Location very central
Parking would be tricky if no spaces left
Comfortable quiet rooms. Comfy bed.
We had booked a twin room via Booking.com but the hotel didn’t get the message. When we pointed this out they were utterly helpless and unhelpful.
Modern and clean
The split nature of the facilities
Car parking
Property was lovely, great decor, clean and the room size and facilities were excellent. Thoroughly impressed
Wonderful bedroom and great location
The only issue is the parking which can be problematic. But, to be fair, it wasn’t on the occasion of this stay
Usual high standard. Great location, stay here once a month.
