Pros:

Location is good, behind the city hall. The room is not clean, especially the bathroom, we have to take quite some hairs out of bathtub. It’s very noisy, we could hear every single word on the floor.

i think its auto saving feature, or maybe there is button for me to toggle, but i could not find

Comfortable stay and easy to get to
Pros:

Very modern hotel on the high street.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. (Helping with luggage, booking taxis for us etc.)
View isn’t the best from the rooms as it is not on the beach but we didn’t get to spend too much time in the room.

Nice hotel but Improvement Needed
Pros:

The hotel is located near to retail stores, some cafes and local restaurants. It is only ten minutes car journey to the airport. There is a 7Eleven behind the hotel, a C U convenience store about 20metets away and a GS25 convenience store opposite the hotel too.

There are bus stops very near to the hotel where you can take buses to the traditional market.

There is a 3storey Starbucks, Paris Baguette and Dunkin Donut cafes, Olive Young within 10minutes walk from the hotel. So dining and shopping is a us point staying at the Hotel Shalom.

Cons:

The rooms are dated and need refurbishment. The carpet in my room had a musky smell. If the hotel has no intention to renovate the rooms, they should at least provide an air purifier in all rooms. Some inconsiderate people had smoked in non-smoking rooms resulted in a room smell of smoke. I had to request for a change of room due to this.

The lights in the toilet switched off automatically after a time limit. I was showering once when the lights turned off and the toilet became pitched dark. This is dangerous if one has a faint heart. The lifts have no security system, anyone may walk into the hotel and access the rooms. The rooms' doors come with digital lock, I am not sure how secured are they.
