Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff
Location good next to the river and a short walk to the night market. Breakfast excellent where you can order what you like from a menu so everything is freshly cooked. A big plus that you can have breakfast until 12PM and even later if you agree with the staff. Perfect to a morning activity and then enjoy a long and late breakfast overlooking the river. You can borrow bicycles for free to take a ride around town.

Top notch all around. We love this hotel. The staff, accommodations, breakfast and dinner. Belle Rive is in a perfect location for exploring the city. Highly recommend if coming to Luang Prabang!

We had an amazing time at the Belle River. Firstly the colonial style hotel has a lovely location overlooking the Mekong in the fabulous resort of Luang Prabang.
The rooms are of good size and decor although due to the single glazed windows and doors can be a little noisy at night.
The breakfast and other meals are very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Khai for her perseverance with my train tickets and general help.

Vom Balkon und beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse im Belle Rive hat man einen guten Blick auf den beeindruckenden Mekong. In die Altstadt von Luang Prabang sind es nur ein paar Schritte. Wir haben hier fünf Tage verbracht und diese Zeit sehr genossen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und wissen immer Rat für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen. Eine Bootsfahrt zum Sonnenuntergang gibt es kostenlos.

Almost complete perfection. Wonderful central location, characterful (not chain) hotel, wonderful breakfast with possibly the best view in the whole of Luang Prabang, the rooms are charming, the staff are so helpful and cheerful.

Hard to find any fault: they did fail to pick us up from the airport though we had booked their car, and their car took us to the falls and we had to wait a bit to get picked up.

But these are minor issues, next time we come to LP we will definitely book to stay here. Highly recommended.

Un merveilleux séjour dans ce charmant hôtel où tout était au top. Le personnel est très agréable et bienveillant. Dans le prix (un peu élevé) de la chambre est compris le mini bar, une croisière sur le Mékong avec une boisson par personne, vélos à disposition gratuitement. Des transats, un terrain de pétanque ...
Le plus, un vrai bon petit déjeuner absolument délicieux pris en terrasse avec vue sur le Mékong !
Très bien situé, tout près du charmant centre ville de Luang Prabang.
Un merci tout particulier au personnel d'avoir gardé nos bagages pendant 2 jours lors de notre escapade à Vang Vieng.

Belle Rive is a haven within a haven. You already know that Luang Prabang has a beautiful culture where the people maintain such pride in being friendly, caring, and protective of their natural, built, and spiritual heritage. Belle Rive reflects all of those qualities in its very special space on the Mekong, with the cafe resting just above the relax garden. Actually, the relax garden is a place that most don’t visitors don’t seem to use, but honestly, it’s a gorgeous spot to have a Lao Beer on the lounges. We loved our home for the week, and we appreciated the staff helping us to participate in the alms giving with respect and care, providing us with a kit of items and explaining what to do and not to do.

The room we had ( coconut 2 ) had a fabulous view of the river and a balcony. My only issue would be the noisy guests next door on their balcony as we were almost connected. The terrace restaurant across the little road was perfect and the staff were extremely accommodating. Vee the manager provided us with all our needs, and put himself out to source our train tickets to Vang Vieng ( despite the train being completely full nearly all day)
The hotel is a little pricier than adjacent hotels, but the service and consideration more than made up for this.
I would highly recommend this little gem, loved the breakfast overlooking the river, freshly baked french patisserie and little touches that made it a very unique stay.
