The cyclamen and spring flowers were beautiful
The sauna was not working but a good reason was given
Location very good with a stunning view or the bay. Great terrace and brasserie outlook. Meals excellent both breakfast and dinner. Staff helpful and friendly.
Room was slightly smaller than we had expected given the proportions of the downstairs social areas. Apart from that no complaints at all.

Room was a little small, but needed a deeper clean.
The staff were wonderful on arrival. We had Melanie but also liaised with the brasserie staff and waiting staff who were fantastic. Our apartment was beautiful, wonderful! Jacuzzi and fantastic views.
Charging for bed space that is a sofa in a living area,, always irks me. Especially when the sofa is metally and uncomfortable. This is not a cheap accommodation and although attention to detail has been placed on decor, the sofa bed, leaves something to be desired.
Excellent short stay especially as our room was upgraded.

We loved the location, the room, the breakfast, the staff and the facilities.

Function was really well run, food was fantastic.
Room was a little on the small size, but we did have a sea view.
We stayed in the apartments which were lovely. Kitchen was good, bed comfortable and great shower.
Bit noisy behind when staff went home one night with motorbike and chat for a few mins but otherwise quiet. Bar was a disappointment tbh. Floor was being varnished and so difficult to move around as busy. Smelt of cabbage and was very warm! Sat lunch strange time to varnish floor really. So we didn’t go back instead went into town.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed in an apartment at Berry Head Hotel.
The hot tub is fantastic, the view from the room is fantastic.

I’m afraid that old urine around the bottom of the toilet pan really doesn’t do it for me.
There was cobwebs behind the main curtains , and as a dog friendly hotel I would have liked a dog bowl and a gate in the apartment entrance.
The room is billed as 4 Star accommodation. Slippers would have been appreciated.
I would have brought all this up on check out but the staff didn’t really seem to care.

Welcoming staff and great hotel location. Bar area and views were fabulous. Good breakfast.
Small room with sloped ceiling so felt very tight, somewhat dated. Disappointed with the room considering the cost. Carvery was ok but end of service wasn't a good time to book. Pool area ok but needs investment.
fantastic location over looking Torbay, lovely breakfast, clean facilities and helpful staff. Nice indoor pool which we used for pre breakfast swimming.
Unfortunately, at the time of our stay, the sauna wasn't available to use.

Lack of Gluten free options. It was a case of removing food rather than replacing. Some parts of the hotel are tired looking. Tv has a lack of connectivity.
Room was very comfortable. It was nicely decorated and big. It was also spotless. Breakfast was excellent and Bar meal the night before was great too.
