Clean room. But small. Rustic. Bathroom was in bad shape. Too small and shower door didn’t close.
The place is old. Ok lots are and not constantly renovating is eco-friendly. That said, the hotel is for sale so it feels like the business is being limped along. The quality of the bedding is cheap. Pillows are lumpy and the mattress worked for a night but was lumpy too. The shower didn’t drain well so you’re standing in a puddle. 2 towels provided for 4 guests. Crowded room for a family. Appreciate the accommodation but the place needs some attention.
This was the most unusual place I've stayed at in awhile. I enjoyed it, but it's quirky. The room was small, but worked out just fine. The tv worked, as did the ceiling fan. They were pet friendly, which was the big sell for me. You really felt like you were staying in a hotel from the early 20th century, but that's not a criticism. The stairs creaked, the hallway was narrow and I wound my way with 3 right turns on the second floor. The lobby was a legitimate front parlor. I never saw anyone from the staff. They left my key, with my name, at the unattended box at the front door. I left the key there in the morning. I would stay there again if coming through town. Thanks.
Such a wonderful, old historic, hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the 1800s while staying in this hotel. I imagine Billy the kid or Buffalo Bill probably stayed at this hotel. Highly recommend and will stay there again if I'm ever going through Kremling.
Old Western hotel was unique. Rehab was poorly done.Parking was on the street
Quirky, old, remodeled, hotel with wood floors and rooms with themes. I had the John Denver room. Clean room with comfy bed. Bathroom was a tight space and it took awhile for the hot water in the shower. Overall a interesting and pleasant stay.
Historic feel.
Generally good experience. No real service though. No coffee available in the morning. Could not turn off the bedroom light and leave on the fan so the room was very warm.
No on site person in sight.
The place could make capital of its rustic Western quaintness and nearness to Kremmling Cliffs and reservoir-lake recreation opportunities. But it needs updated infrastructure. Half-way to 21st century.
Room was very small with no AC. Bathroom was even smaller knees against the shower if using toilet. Shower was filthy.
The room was filthy. I have photos. Dead bugs, dust bunnies. Holes in the shower. Forget about amenities-there are none. We were told AFTER THE FACT that the water in the rooms is NOT SAFE to drink! Seriously?? What kind of hotel is this..I am requesting a FULL REFUND, please. I hope my husband and I do not get sick
Great historic property, owner was terrific.
Great location
No air conditioning our room was hot all night didn't sleep well even with the window open.
I’m pace was fine but the noise from the main road is brutal.
Very old “historic” property. Not comfortable.
No air conditioning, so room was very warm. Made for a tough night’s sleep. Our door knob didn’t function properly, and it took a lot to get it to unlock.
It is an old, "cowboy period" hotel. The rooms reflect what it may have been like at the turn of the 20th Century while also affording a few modern amenities like TV and internet. Yes, there is no air-conditioning and yes, if the room has a bathroom, it is small but the character of the place is so unique and the bed comfortable. Leave a window open and turn on the ceiling fan, all is good!
I think the property was great for the price. It was really old looking and dressed up really nice. The only thing that could be better was the shower floor. Glad we stayed had a great rest.
Very small room, no table lamp on one side of bed, tiny bathroom with hair in tub!! Obviously not cleaned!. Quality of towels not good. Carpet torn in entrance to hotel.
