The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I had a comfortable stay, thank you.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was crisp and of a good quality. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. I use my own toiletries due to allergies but there was plenty of toiletries available. There was a good selection of tea and coffee and sufficient milk which was great. I had a great view from my room which was a real bonus.

Cons:

The windows needed a good clean and the walls were very thin. The grounds around the car park could do with a bit of clearing and sorting out.

Enjoyed the company of our friends but wouldn't recommend the hotel.
Pros:

The location was good. Able to walk across the bridge into the town. Good size car park.

Cons:

There was little hanging space for clothes (5 hangers). No wardrobe. No drawers to put clothes and underwear, we had to live out of our suitcase. Definitely DIDNOT LIKE the brown toilet paper. Some of our group had their rooms downgraded but we're not offered a refund. They had to argue their case and didn't get the correct refund. Had to ask for tea bags. The bar on the first night was not open.

The location was excellent. A nice riverside bar. Very comfortable beds.

Cons:

The restaurant was closed. No hairdryer in the room. The bathroom light kept turning itself off.

Needs some work
Pros:

Man on reception was helpful when checking in. Another member of staff helped us find our room and carried cases for us up the stairs.

Cons:

Hotel is a mish mash of areas. Nothing flowed. No signs up showing you where to go. Our room was in a block on a public footpath and the main door did not lock.

Disappointed on arrival expected much more from the information available when booked the hotel

Plenty of parking

Cons:

Renovation work in progress
No dining facilities available
Limited access to parts of the premises
Bar didn’t open until 5pm limiting the recreational use of the facilities
Areas need cleaning and tlc

The location is absolutely superb.

Cons:

It would have been nice control the temperature in the room. The water pressure in the shower was weak.
