What an amazing hotel and restaurant .
Pinky really looked after us in the restaurant, especially choosing meals suitable for our English taste.
The rooms and swimming pool, just the best.

We had a wonderful tme Le Pondy. The ambience and hospitality was something to remember. The staff were very warm and welcoming. Pinky, the head Captain was very polite and attentive. She made sure we were fed with sumptous food. Le Pondy was a lovely place to relax. We will definiely come back for a longer stay.

The location was chosen for a destination wedding for my daughter. It is well placed not too close and not too far from the city. The ambience is perfect, slight chillness in the air mixed with the sea breeze over a fantastic good size well maintained lawn, beautiful condition to have an outdoor wedding be it day or night. Rooms there were 65 rooms operational at the time of the wedding. This was more than sufficient for our guests. The rooms were spacious clean with all amenities. The cost is perfect matched our budget. Very quiet during the night. The room service was perfect, they responded to our request with polite and quickly

Le Pondy is located on outskirts of Pondicherry and guests have access to their provivate beach. Its a nice, quiet property and you wont feel like going out for anything. This is the place if you want to spend relaxed time. We had a sea view room with a seperate Sit out which was amazing. Rooms were clean with all amenities. Since we went during eak season room rates were slighly higher, but I would still say it was value for money spent.
Resturant serves delicious food and special mention of Bala Murugan (F&B Manager) who took special care of our taste and as a special gesture arranged a cake and nice decor for Bday celebration.
Overall a very good experience and I would definitely recommend this property.

We had an amazing time celebrating our first anniversary at Le Pondy in Pondicherry. We traveled in comfort, and the resort matched our expectations perfectly. We arranged a special candlelight dinner setup for our celebration, which cost around 4,000 rupees, and it was absolutely worth it. Just a heads-up: there may be additional charges, so it’s best to confirm all the details in advance.

Although we didn’t get the villa we wanted, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Mr. Bala in the restaurant was incredibly helpful and made our experience even more memorable. Overall, the stay was delightful, and I highly recommend Le Pondy for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We had hosted a family get-together day event today at Le Pondy for 40 members & it turned out to be such a memorable day for our whole family.. I need to call out the professionalism from the team especially I have been in touch with Balamurugan (F&B mgr) who assisted me with all the booking including the banquet hall, food menu for the lunch we hosted today...Balamurugan is a great asset to the Le Pondy management team - he was so easy to co ordinate, communicate all details and he worked in good cohesiveness with his entire team so well.. We didnt face any glitch today.. All members liked the food presented today especially the Mutton Biryani and Chicken Chettinad gravy to name a few.. The banquet hall was so nice with perfect lighting, comfortable seating and the audio/mic were all working seamlessly for the events we planned.. Overall, LePondy environment inside the resort was well maintained and plush with good natural touch in the entire property. I would defintely recommend Le Pondy to anyone who wishes to host their family functions and get-together.. The resort, staff & food all together was top notch..!!

Absolutely disgraceful experience with Le Pondy Resort. This resort has blatantly cheated us. We specifically booked and paid for sea-facing rooms, yet our Indian guests were deliberately pushed into ground-floor rooms opening into a lawn with ZERO sea view. This is nothing short of deception.

What’s even more shameful is the clear and unacceptable discrimination—all the proper first-floor sea-facing rooms were conveniently allotted to foreigners, while Indian guests were treated as second-class customers. This kind of biased and unethical behavior is intolerable.

Le Pondy Resort clearly does not respect Indian travelers or travel professionals. Their false promises, unfair room allocation, and discriminatory practices expose their true standards.

Indian travelers should seriously boycott this resort. If you value honesty, dignity, and fair treatment, stay far away from Le Pondy Resort. Totally unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable.

Dear Mr. Abraham and Mr. Bipin, Thank you for all the help, and support with the Engagement Ceremony we did at your Resort in November. You All did such good job and I cannot Thank you BOTH enough for such a Wonderful Service . The Venue, DECOR , FOOD , Event Management were done so nicely and All the STAFF were so kind , helpful and provided such a great Service without any hesitation and took good care of even the Elders who needed a lot of support.
Please Convey our Thanks to All the staff who all helped make this Occasion a great Success. With Regards to FOOD- All the items were so tasty and please convey my Thanks to the Chef . Housekeeping is bad,
food sucks big time - if they cant make decent sambhar. and chapati, something is wrong

The swimming pool and open areas are well suited for families and couple.
