The staff was amazing. Aya at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was small, the area around the hotel is dark but atleast there is a good number of restaurants around it

We had a great stay and all the workers were kind amd helpful especially Nasser who have us valuable information about visiting Oman. Good amenities and quick service. Enjoyed it
Love the motel
This was an awful stay that forced us to check out after the first night because of the poor service experienced at the hotel. Check in was slow and we were told to sit and wait despite arrived almost two hours after check in. The room we were given did not have a bath as requested and were told to wait another hour to get the correct room. Arrived in the new room which did not have hand soap, hand towels or an extra blanket. Had to call all the options on the phone over 8 times before finally getting through to reception and requesting soap and extra blanket. We were brought soap and toothbrushes (???) and told they would come back with the blanket. Had to call again half an hour later because it didn't come. None of the restaurants were open for food and we were told they are not taking orders at the roof top cafe because of a function that evening.
The next morning we requested to cancel the second night and check out. The front manager Mr Nasser tried to offer us free things and upgrades to make our stay better but we just wanted to leave and head back to UAE. He told us he could not approve refunds and to wait to meet the hotel manager Mr Ebrahim at 12pm. We wasted half the day waiting for him and he didn't arrive. Then left the hotel to see the city and came back at 6pm and were told he's gone and can't see us.
Don't stay at this hotel. Overall poor service and response and we are still waiting on hotels.com and the hotel to sort out our refund for the second night.
This has become my go to hotel for whenever I am in Muscat. Very reasonable price and great amenities. Would love to have stayed longer

Lovely stay at Centara. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Nice service. Used the massage service which was nice. Didn't try the food though. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Good value for money, easy parking and good service
Centara was once a good hotel. That is evident. But, at this stage, it's resting on its laurels. The rooms are nice and large, but housekeeping suffers. I killed a cockroach in the room, but the hotel never followed up with pest control, even after I had reported it. There's a nice pool on the roof, but it needs maintenance. The gym is quasi abandoned. Staff is inattentive and dismissive. They're not rude. They fake interest and never follow up on requests. A good manager will whip Centara into shape, but they need to have in place.
Where do I start. This is THE WORST hotel we have ever stayed. The whole hotel and hallways smell like dead fish. Our room was nasty. There was hair on our bed sheet and the pillow cases were stained. We asked to change our room. The new room wasn’t any better. There was a hole in our bed sheet and the shower drain wasn’t working properly. We ended up not taking shower at all. The washroom was not cleaned and it felt disgusting. We were missing hand soap and when given one, it was broken. The towels smelled like they haven’t been washed. I wouldn’t recommend thid hotel to anyone.
I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was very spacious and beautiful, the spa was amazing and the staff were helpful and courteous.
The only issue I had was the hot water temperature was never hot, only lukewarm during my 4 day stay.
Aside from that I had a wonderful time and plan to stay at the Centara the next time I am travelling to Oman.
The hotel location is very good near the airport and vegetarian restaurants. Rooms are spacious and staff is courteous.
Feels like home when I stay there. Very beautiful motel that makes thing easy when man away from home. Staff is great and very helpful

Highly recommend. Excellent customer service. Large room. Great restaurant with great staff. Nice swimming pool. Felt well looked after by staff.
