Pros:

Loved my stay at Balena Regency Hotel, Sri Lanka. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and spacious with balcony, and the peaceful atmosphere made it very relaxing.

Cons:

The stay was comfortable, but one downside was that the hotel doesn’t have an on-site restaurant, which was inconvenient for meals. Dining options were limited, and that could be improved.

Pros:

The perfect find for our family of 4 for 3 nights! Peacefully tucked away amongst nature but only minutes from main beach/ restaurants. Friendly family run- most delicious and generous breakfast. Very relaxing and quiet pool setting, watched fruit bats fly around at dusk. Highly recommend!

Loads to Improve on Customer Service For Customers to get worth their money
Pros:

Room Facilities-
The rooms were spacious
The rooms had a huge balcony where you could have your morning tea / coffee
Washrooms had 24/7 hot and cold water
Location -
The hotel is located at a 5min walk from the beach.
Swimming Pool -
The hotel has a nice swimming pool. We did not use the pool but it was a well maintained one.
Beach Towels -
The hotel does provide beach towels

Cons:

Customer Service - When we arrived the Hotel Manager was not around. But the staff was not aware which is the room assigned to me. They took us to 2 rooms before giving us the key of the 3rd room. This entire process took 30mins+ which was annoying to start with.
Room Maintenance - The 2nd room that was assigned to us - The AC was not working, Washroom Washbasin was constantly leaking, and we were suggested to change the room and to go to the 3rd room.
Charging for Drinking Water - Across my stay in Sri Lanka every hotel whether a 3star or a 4star provided 1.5 to 2 liters of drinking water for free on a daily basis as we were a family of 3 travelling. Here only on Day 1 they provide free drinking water and start charging you rom Day 2. After a bit of debate, the manager agreed to give it for free, but this ideally should not even be debated.

Pros:

We had a lovely stay here, the accomodation was so close to the beach and the town.

Cons:

We only got two towels to do 3 people and got told every day the delivery was coming and we would be given towels but we were not. We asked on the final day and they didn’t want to give us towels.

Pros:

Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Trubel und ruhig. Die Zimmer waren etwas muffig und stickig. Die Reinigung der Zimmer und entleeren der Mistkübel musste immer extra verlangt werden! Grundsätzlich ist die Familie und das Personal sehr nett und erfüllt, soweit möglich, alle Wünsche aber es geht halt Nichts automatisch (Reinigung)! Vermutlich wurde vergessen, anfangs die Bettwäsche und Handtücher zu tauschen, das mussten wir reklamieren! Sehr gut ist das Frühstück auf der Terrasse am Pool! Für die Ausstattung etwas zu hoher Preis!

Cons:

Zimmerreinigung etc. nur auf Verlangen, Zimmer etwas muffig (Luftfeuchtigkeit)

Pros:

Exceptional stay! The hotel is in a perfect location just a short walk to the beach, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a nice balcony view. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The pool area was relaxing and well maintained. Overall, great value for money and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended

Excellent hotel in the center of Mirissa.
Pros:

The property is close to the beach and really - to everything. Very good location. In the same time it's a bit off from the main road that makes it a quiet place. The breakfast took a bit time but that is usual in Sri Lanka but it was very nicely served and really tasty.

Cons:

The pool scratched the feet of our kids a little bit but nothing too serious.
