We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. While the room was quite expensive for what it offered, we understood that hotel rates in Boracay are generally higher. The location was convenient, as it was close to D’Mall and D’Talipapa.

Our experience took a disappointing turn during checkout. The staff told us that the bath soap bottle was missing from our room. We explained that when we first checked in, the bottle was in the bathroom. However, after we requested housekeeping during our stay, we noticed that the bottle was gone.

The staff spoke to the housekeeping personnel, who insisted that they had left the bottle in the bathroom. They also claimed that we had asked them to refill the bottle, which was completely untrue. We never requested a refill because we brought our own toiletries and didn’t use the hotel’s bath soap at all.

What disappointed us the most was how the situation was handled. Instead of investigating what happened, reviewing the CCTV footage, or checking whether the housekeeping staff had accidentally removed or replaced the bottle, they simply expected us to pay for it. Since we were already running late for our flight, we had no choice but to pay the ₱300 charge just to avoid further delays.

The ₱300 wasn’t the issue. It was the way the hotel handled the situation. It felt like they were more interested in collecting payment than finding out what had actually happened. If something goes missing from a room, guests shouldn’t automatically be held responsible without a proper investigation.

We had a wonderful time in Boracay, but this incident left us with a bad impression of the hotel. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we would not stay here again, and we would not recommend it to our friends.

The shower and toilet of the villa were blocked. There was no proper maintenance of the drainage. The restaurant staff were not really kind. Especially when we complained about our bill that was wrongly computed.

My first Boracay trip
Pros:

Location is very accessible.
The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Value is good for budgeting. Cleanliness could be improve. A peaceful place to stay with good soundproofing. Friendly staff who will greet you even if they're doing their chores. Amenities needs improvement but overall it's good.

Pros:

Location wise is great, not literally in beach front but it's so close to the beach. Staffs are approachable and nice. They even have complementary drinks once you arrive in the hotel. Room is clean and has a nice space. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We'll surely comeback and book again.

If you’re looking for an affordable place with an accessible location and great service, I highly recommend Red Coco Inn de Boracay. It’s right beside a supermarket where you can easily buy anything you need, and it’s just a short walk to D’Mall and the beach.

We stayed here to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and they made it extra special. When we arrived, the staff welcomed us by singing “Happy Birthday,” which was such a thoughtful touch.

They also have a pool available for in-house guests and a restaurant within the property, making our stay even more convenient. The rooms were clean, and we really appreciated the warm and friendly service!

location wise, very accessible located in the middle of Boracay (main road), 5 minutes to white beach and 3 mins to D'mall. The rooms are simple but clean, beds are comfortable safe and warm. Staff are accommodating and nice. Good breakfast for the pinoy's taste. Very importantly is affordable hotel in BORACAY. Recommended to barkadas and families.
