Delamar West Hartford

From the time I arrived to the time I departed, the service at this hotel was exemplary! It started with the valet parking where staff made you feel welcomed, thru the front desk where you're welcomed warmly with a smile, to the staff caring for the details of ensuring your room & stay was comfortable. The Delamar certainly doesn't skimp on service. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm back from out of town.

We are repeat customers. We love the restaurant, the entire staff, the location and the fact that dogs are contained on one floor. In the past, at other hotels, we have been charged at , growled at and barked at. In Lake Placid, a pit bull charged me when I exited the elevator. Additionally, the barking was too much. The maids there complained about being constantly bitten. In Destin, we would watch individuals check in at the front desk then sneak dogs into their rooms only to have the dogs constantly bark and growl in the elevator. We wish people would leave their dogs home. But it is nice to see that the dogs here are contained on one floor here.

We absolutely love the Delamar West Hartford and return whenever we’re back in Connecticut. We’ve stayed here many times over the years and have hosted major events—including our own wedding and, most recently, a friend’s wedding. Every experience has been exceptional!
The staff is truly what sets the Delamar apart. Sedek, the General Manager, leads with professionalism and warmth. Erin, the Director of Catering, and her assistant Charlie made the wedding seamless and unforgettable. Charley and the front door team always greet guests with genuine hospitality, and Eric, Yuni and the front desk staff consistently go above and beyond.
A special thank‑you as well to Steve and Maggie at the bar—both downstairs and at the reception—along with the entire wait staff, who delivered outstanding service throughout the event.
The Delamar has become our home away from home, and it remains the only place we choose to stay when visiting Connecticut. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, decorated to perfection with eclectic and classic styles and art. Restaurant /bar was adorable and the food and drinks were fantastic. Prosecco at check in/ cookies in the room. Staff could not have been nicer. This hotel is like staying at some rich Palm Beach lady’s perfect home. Absolute must stay.

From the moment you arrive, valet staff, front desk and room were simply superb! Our daughters’ event was magical and it started at Delamar!

The hotel has a warm and attentive staff throughout ie registration, valet, housekeeping, and the servers in the restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was delicious as were our lunch and dinner in the hotel. The ambiance is lovely and warm. The fitness center was good and the cleanliness throughout the hotel is excellent.

We have stayed here Numerous times since the (badly needed) hotel opened. The service is exeptional and I hear via my relatives that the Spa is wonderful. It is central to many restaurants and shopping. The food has always been very good, and this time we had brunch before leaving, which was outstanding. The bar and other public areas (Fabulous Art!) are elevated and comfortable. We want to try their other properties: There is a reason that they are successful and expanding their portfolio.

The Delamar never disappoints. The rooms are perfectly decorated, very clean, and always comfortable. The food is excellent, the coffee amazing, and the staff always helpful and welcoming. We've stayed that the Delamar WH 10+ times and are always happy to have stayed there.

SPA!!! It’s so convenient and wonderful to have the spot located at the hotel. I’ve been working lots of long hours and I came in for a family event. The hotel was extremely luxurious comfortable, and the spa was a cherry on the top.

A beautiful hotel with every amenity you could ask for. Prosecco and hot cider at check in, a wonderful espresso machine for morning coffee, high-end linens in the guest rooms and a wonderful complimentary breakfast. We will be back

We had a wonderful overnight stay and truly enjoyed the luxury and comfort of the hotel. The dog-friendly experience meant so much to us—our 12 year-old pup was welcomed and had a great time as well. We’re already looking forward to returning this summer. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Ive been to the West Hartford location several times and the Greenwich location 6 years ago. The decor is lovely, clean simple casual elegance. Staff is friendly . Rooms are quiet comfortable and spacious. Nice small spa to get a massage or facial but wish they had a steam and sauna room to complete the spa experience.
The gym is adequate with equipment and machines.
There is always an event going on in the banquet room on the weekends. The Artisian restuarant has a nice atmoshere and the bar is nice as well.

Beautiful hotel. Good experience except for a very hot and stuffy room. Turned the thermostat down as far as it would go but that didn't help. Windows could be opened which was good. Uncomfortable pillows.
