Great location! Chic and effortlessly cool.
This hotel is very charming and is in a great location. However it was not very accomodating. We were give a room on the 5th floor . There was no elevator ,so we would have to climb 5 flights of stairs with about 24 steps to each floor. The rooms had tall ceilings so the that made each flight steep. We asked for a closer room since I am an older woman with bad knees. I appreciated that they were able to find a second floor room. However, they wanted me to contact Expedia for permission to change my room with a refund. I asked about the difference in price and they said they couldn't give that information . Then they informed me that the room was more expensive and I would have to pay the difference. I argued with them about accommodations and they agreed to call it even. They ended up charging me $16. The room had a stained glass window that allowed the hallway light to shine in at night. That with an uncomfortable bed made sleeping at night almost impossible. The free breakfast wasn't worth it.I didn't eat my old donut or drink my watered down coffee. My son ended up booking another hotel to get rested up before his international flight. Very dissapointing!
Todo excelente, el personal muy atento y dispuesto, hace falta un elevador, así mismo una sala dentro de la habitación, mi TV no servía.
the hotel is beautiful and our room was lovely and comfortable. we even took a day to relax in our room as to get all the joy of this beautiful hotel. i will be returning!
This adorable hotel was really perfect in so many ways. It is small which lends to its quaintness. The staff are helpful and friendly. Very simple but cute and clean and the location could not be beat! It is somewhat loud at night so if you are a light sleeper may need to know this. There isn't any air conditioning or elevators- neither of which mattered too too much to us either - but important to note for sure.
Great location to everything. The staff is super friendly, our room was not air conditioned so it can get warm and you’ll have to keep the windows open.
Incredible location in Condesa, and the style and vibe are wonderful! The bed and sheets are great, and the lounge/cafe are nice for breakfast, reading, etc. The staff are very kind and helpful.
Everything about this stay was amazing.
The staff is wonderful!! we will be back.
Made me feel like I was at home in CDMX! The staff are very friendly and got us checked in early. The bar has great food and all around good vibes. Will definitely be back!
Stay was not great overall. A lot of issues with getting our room cleaned daily which was very frustrating. Contacted the hotel straight after the stay and they never came to any conclusion/replied. Really disappointing customer service and would not stay again as a consequence.
Amazing, beautiful hotel in wonderful location with friendly staff. Walkable to so many great shops, bars, museums, and restaurants. The nearby park is beautiful. My one complaint would be that there is not AC and I could see it getting hot especially over the summer. I would definitely return.
It is in an amazing location, within walking distance of the park and restaurants. The hotel had big, spacious rooms. I loved the hotel staff, who were very friendly and welcoming.
I love this little hotel and what Bunkhouse Group has done with the property! We didn’t realize there was no elevator when we booked the top floor terrace room with a lot of luggage.
This is a very cute full of charm hotel in an amazing area. The staff is very friendly helped us with some very heavy luggages (there is no elevator) and the room has everything you need and is huge. It was a bit noisy but that’s because we were on the first floor overlooking the street and there is a restaurant on the first floor.
I’d definitely stay here the next time I’m in Mexico City.
Such a great stay beauitful space and lovely staff, thank you
I had a disappointing experience. My room wasn’t ready at the time they have announced as their check in hours. (Got it more than an hour later)
The attendants at the front desk are inexperienced, and couldn’t offer any solutions.
The room doesn’t have a telephone to call front desk, and since they don’t have an elevator, you need to use the stairs everytime you need something, they don’t have an iron in the room if you need to fix your clothes, they don’t have room service, rooms don’t have A/C and since there are two or three restaurants around, it’s too noisy at night.
They’re offering some of their rooms as suites with a kitchen, but they don’t have a microwave oven in it or a fridge.
This place is nicely decorated, as seen in the pictures but it shouldn’t be listed as a hotel, since it doesn’t have the minimum amenities a hotel should offer, must be considered as a bed and breakfast.
Lovely staff
Hotel San Fernando is beautifully decorated, great location, and the service was excellent. Front desk was super helpful and friendly. The only thing I’d change is the room temp- there was no AC only a small fan, and we found ourselves too hot in certain parts of the night - a few degrees cooler and it would have been perfection
We did enjoy our stay at HSF however, we felt pretty cheated in the beginning of our stay. I booked (prepaid) this hotel and selected the Terraza suite for our anniversary trip.
According to their floor plans, the rooms looked pretty spacious and comfortable. The room we were given was anything but spacious/comfortable. This "room" really shouldn't even be rented. It felt more like a break room or large storage closet with a bathroom. The front door was a glass metal gate which the lock was keyed on both sides (pretty unsafe in the event of an emergency.) Size wise, this room is definitely not equipped to hold 2 people comfortably. Either this room was left off of the floor plan options or they are not to scale because I couldn't find this layout on the website. After 2 days in the room, I requested a swap and the hotel accommodated which made the rest of our stay pleasant. But that Terraza "suite" is certainly not a suite and really should be removed from their room portfolio or at the very least rented at a significantly reduced rate.
Some other notes:
-no elevator (hard to find that detail on website)
-not all rooms have A/C
-no room phones, all communication to front desk via What's App or in person
Amazing location, very safe with dining everywhere, quaint area. Water in room would vary from warm to hot and the cable TV wasnt working but thats not why we were there after all. Staff went above and beyond, great hotel and would stay again
