Po prostu wszystko.
Stunning hotel. Service was great. Ilenia at the boutique inside Hotel Cipriani was absolutely wonderful! She was so warm, friendly, and genuinely made shopping there such a fun and memorable experience. She has incredible taste and was so helpful without ever making me feel pressured or rushed. If you’re visiting the Cipriani, definitely stop by the boutique and ask for Ilenia—she truly made my day!
We recently stayed for three nights at Hotel Cipriani, and to say it was amazing and relaxing would be an understatement.
From the moment we arrived, everything was so special. We had a beautiful water taxi waiting for us, which took us directly to the hotel. We were welcomed by Rachele, who was wonderful. She went through our bookings and restaurant reservations to make sure everything was in order, and as our room was ready, she personally brought us up.
We were very lucky to be upgraded to a junior suite, which was truly beautiful. It was one of the newly renovated rooms by Peter Marino, and the design was stunning.
All of the staff were genuinely lovely and friendly. The hotel has that special Belmond touch where everyone seems to know your name, and we were greeted so warmly everywhere we went. It really made us feel looked after throughout our stay.
Breakfast was fantastic and felt like the definition of slow luxury. There was a great variety of pastries, cheeses, cereals and à la carte options, all enjoyed overlooking the lagoon. The pool was another highlight. It was such a treat to have such a large and peaceful pool in Venice, and we spent a very relaxing afternoon there. The new Dior Spa is also beautiful, with excellent staff and a stunning renovation.
Unfortunately, we had a small medical emergency during our stay, but the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. They arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel immediately and even personally collected the prescription for us. We really appreciated how well they looked after us during what was a stressful situation.
Thank you to everyone at Hotel Cipriani for making our stay so memorable.
We would also highly recommend visiting the nearby new Airelles hotel. It was beautiful, and the ABC Kitchen restaurant was so good that we ended up visiting twice.
A hotel for a truly wonderful and remarkable hotel experience. Where the staff go over and above to accommodate all your wishes.
We were fortunate to stay here during a trip to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The hotel is very beautiful; the setting, the lobby, the breakfast terrace, Oro restaurant, Cips club, the pool, all perfect in their own way. The staff are lovely, the welcome genuine and warm and yet we left feeling the experience of staying here could be better. Some comment that the rooms are outdated, but I really liked them, and the hotel has already started updating them. No doubt they will be spectacularly renovated but part of the charm for me is the history and the older rooms have bundles of charm as well as all modern comforts. It was elsewhere that our stay could have been better. The breakfast buffet is beautiful but the hot breakfast was quite average on each of our two mornings, the service at breakfast was also haphazard. Poolside we were brought warm beer on two occasions in 30+ degree heat. Elsewhere we stayed we were served a beer in frosted glasses. There was also poor attention to detail at the concierge desk resulting in mistakes in things we’d booked. The staff were lovely and made up for it but it was consistent with a slightly sub par standard at the hotel. We left feeling we could have been better looked after better, and moved on to another beautiful Venice hotel where we were, but I would still look forward to returning to Cipriani.
From the moment we were greeted off the boat, a sense of calm descended — the unmistakable feeling that this was somewhere special. That impression only deepened with every hour and day that followed.
Check-in set the tone: unhurried, warm and genuinely knowledgeable experience from Gloria, and it instantly relaxed us for the stay ahead. We were impressed by the nightly gifts — such a lovely touch — and our room itself, recently and magnificently redecorated, was a study in high-end finishes and marble craftsmanship. It is difficult to single out any one member of staff for exceptional service, simply because the standard was uniformly, remarkably high throughout the hotel — exceeding, in our experience, other Belmond properties we've stayed at, and that says a great deal given Belmond's overall standard. It is our favourite hotel group.
Valentina, at the poolside restaurant, was a particular highlight: warm, welcoming and consistently willing to go the extra mile. Antonio at the same restaurant was equally exceptional. At Oro, the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant, the restaurant manager Michela combined deep knowledge with real warmth. The pool attendants, every one of them, brought a rare, infectious happiness to their work, and the spa manager was highly professional — the massage with the therapist there was wonderful.
The grounds are immaculately maintained, and the numerous dining spaces scattered across the property each command their own waterside views — a genuinely special touch. Every meal was amazing, especially breakfast and Cips, and the food throughout was fresh, local and excellent. The pool deserves particular mention: at 33 x17 metres, it is the largest in Venice, and every inch of it reflects the same standard of luxury found across the property.
We had a memorable dinner at Cips and the Belmond tennis gifts for my birthday. It really meant so much to us, and we are sincerely grateful for his efforts. Arnaud arranged everything and was great.
The hotel's complimentary boat service — a brisk five-minute crossing, run with quiet efficiency — is the perfect final flourish, and only adds to the sense that once inside the Cipriani, one has little desire to leave Venice at all.
This was one of our best holidays, an extraordinary stay, and one we already look forward to repeating.
The Belmond Cipriani did not simply meet expectations — it redefined them. We are so grateful to have stayed, and we hope to be back soon.
Outstanding in all respects! Staff professional and friendly, location special as you are very close to the center of Venice but you are far enough away to feel like staying on a resort on an Island in addition to be close to the City.
My husband and I had the most amazing time at the Cipriani in Venice. I would like to specifically mention the outstanding service and professionalism from Rachele who looked after our every need from check-in to departure. Rachele made our stay extra special. This hotel exemplifies service and makes you feel instantly relaxed. Taking the Hotel boat across to Venice is special. We had lunch and dinner looking over the water it was spectacular.
After spending an incredible week in Positano, we arrived at Hotel Cipriani wondering how anything could possibly top what had already been an amazing vacation. Within minutes of arriving at the hotel's private dock, we realized we were about to experience something truly extraordinary.
From the moment we stepped into the reception lobby, every detail was flawless. Antonia welcomed us with genuine warmth and two glasses of rosé while we checked in, immediately making us feel like treasured guests rather than visitors. Even before our arrival, the hotel had reached out to ask about our personal preferences—from our preferred pillow type to our favorite beverages—setting the tone for the impeccable level of personalized service we would experience throughout our stay.
The Hotel Cipriani is, without question, one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever experienced. Every space is breathtaking. The Bellini-pink Venetian plaster walls, gleaming terrazzo floors, exquisite Murano glass chandeliers, and timeless Venetian design create an atmosphere of effortless elegance. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and no detail has been overlooked.
Our Junior Suite overlooking the gardens was absolutely beautiful. The expansive terrace offered peaceful views of the lush grounds with glimpses of the lagoon beyond—a perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening aperitivo. Inside, the room was stunning, with luxurious marble floors, handcrafted Murano glass accents, Venetian mirrors, sumptuous bedding, and every modern convenience discreetly integrated. Even the lighting system impressed us, allowing us to choose between bright, soft, or relaxing ambiance with the touch of a button.
Waiting in our room was a perfectly chilled bottle of champagne, delicious snacks, and a handwritten welcome note from General Manager Thomas—a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected the hotel's extraordinary attention to detail and genuine hospitality.
Breakfast each morning was one of the highlights of our stay. The buffet is unlike anything we've experienced elsewhere in Italy, offering an incredible variety of beautifully presented dishes. The staff are exceptional. On the very first morning, our server remembered exactly how I liked my cappuccino, and throughout our stay everyone anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
Dinner at Cip's Club was equally unforgettable. Sitting directly on the Grand Canal, watching the sun set over Venice while enjoying exceptional cuisine, was one of those magical travel moments we'll never forget. The views of Venice at dusk are simply spectacular.
The famous Olympic-sized swimming pool deserves special mention. It is not only enormous but absolutely beautiful, especially when illuminated at night. Sitting on the terrace with cocktails overlooking the glowing pool after dinner was the perfect way to end each evening.
The complimentary shuttle to St. Mark's Square made exploring Venice effortless, yet returning to Giudecca each evening felt like escaping into a peaceful oasis. We absolutely loved staying away from the crowds while still being only minutes from the heart of Venice. It offered the best of both worlds.
What truly sets Hotel Cipriani apart, however, is the people. Every member of the staff delivers service with genuine warmth, grace, and pride. They somehow manage to anticipate your needs while making every interaction feel sincere rather than scripted. It's this level of hospitality that transforms a beautiful hotel into an unforgettable experience.
Hotel Cipriani is far more than a luxury hotel—it is a destination and an experience in itself. Every interaction, every space, every thoughtful touch combines to create something truly magical. It is one of those rare places that not only meets the highest expectations but surpasses them in every possible way.
If I had one tiny wish, it would have been receiving the room upgrade that comes with booking through American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts—but honestly, even without it, our stay was absolute perfection. Perhaps next year!
Three nights simply weren't enough. We were genuinely sad to leave and are already planning our return. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Venice.
If you have the opportunity to stay at Hotel Cipriani, don't hesitate. It isn't just one of the finest hotels in Venice—it is one of the finest hotels in the world. Our stay was unforgettable, and we are already counting the days until we return.
★★★★★ An unforgettable stay at Hotel Cipriani, Venice
Hotel Cipriani is, without question, one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at.
From the moment you arrive, the level of service is simply extraordinary. Every single member of the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and everything is handled with remarkable efficiency, warmth, and genuine care. It is hospitality at its very best.
The food is outstanding. Breakfast is truly exceptional, with an incredible selection and impeccable quality, and every meal we had during our stay was absolutely delicious.
The location is another highlight. Close enough to enjoy everything Venice has to offer, yet wonderfully peaceful, allowing you to escape the crowds and experience the city in complete tranquility.
During the summer, the pool area is simply spectacular. It is a beautiful oasis where you can relax in an elegant setting, making the hotel feel like a resort while still being in Venice.
Hotel Cipriani delivers a level of excellence that is increasingly rare. It is a truly exceptional property, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We are already looking forward to returning.
Stayed there last week for the amazing Redentore fireworks. The stay was nothing short of perfection. It blew me away. The kindness of the staff. The renovated rooms are incredibly well done. The Oro restaurant is incredible and so nice to sample some Massimo Bottura dishes in Chef Vania's lagoon menu. Totally deserve another star. The pool and the bar are divine. hey just openes a new Dior Spa which is simply incredible. Pricey but totally worth it
The Cipriani is quite simply superb. The renovated lobby area since our last visit is stunning and the newly refurbished rooms quite lovely. Generous and welcoming service throughout. Not inexpensive but the only place I would stay.
We had a great time at this hotel and the food was excellent! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and helped guide us through the beautiful city!
Gorgeous hotel and divine staff, really memorable. The prices in the restaurants are too high for the calibre and service though, one criticism.
an unique combination of stylish hotel, a marvelous resort and a most beautifully city.
A tribute to Italian hospitality.
A perfect secluded vacation in Venice with an exquisite atmosphere and a fantastic pool. Food and service top-notch We ate every single meal of the hotel
