Staff were brilliant especially Matteo & Christian at the front desk, the welcome espresso was lovely. the breakfast staff were great as well

The front desk people were amazing!!!!! Daniele and Christian were very pleasant and helpful. The ladies at breakfast were very sweet and kind. GOLI (front desk) made our stay the best! She was very upbeat, sweet, understanding, fun, and a joy to spend time with. Can’t say enough about her. ❤️

Frokosten er høydepunktet på dette hotellet. Michaela og Jada, som er vertskap for frokosten, gjør sitt ytterste for at alle skal få en god start på dagen.

Hotellet ligger ellers sentralt ved jernbanestasjonen i Firenze. Det er lett å komme til og fra flyplassen med trikk, som stopper bare 100 meter fra inngangen.

Room was ok, exactly what we booked. Location is great, near the center. Parking close to the hotel, 30 Euro/day. All personnel was very nice and helpful.

Отель очень понравился. Отличная доступность, замечательный персонал. Бесплатно повысили категорию номера. Завтраки вкусные и разнообразные. При выселении нам подарили пачку спагетти и даже рассказали как варить)

sehr freundliches Personal bei Check-in und Frühstück

I stayed at the Joy Hotel, paying >€500 for 4 nights. The experience revealed serious flaws that management must address urgently:

Customer Service: At reception, they tried to upsell an upgrade (€20/day) by loudly calling my booked room "small and smart" in front of other guests. A humiliating and unprofessional tactic.

Sanitation: The worst part was finding ants in the bathroom. Pest control is urgently needed.

Sleep Quality: The mattress was very uncomfortable, with a noticeable hole in the center that prevented a good night's sleep. Also, the upholstered bed base had stains and frayed fabric.

Hygiene: Thick layers of dust on the furniture, greasy marks on the doors, and visibly dirty floor grout.

Maintenance: The shower caddy has severe rust. There is splintered furniture, scratched walls, and battered baseboards.

The condition of the room and the treatment received absolutely do not justify its price or its 4-star rating.

Everything was fine, really comfortable place to stop for a few days, and breakfast is tasty, I’d like to thank Christian separately and his colleague for the good service

The hotel is in a very central location, just 6–7 minutes from the train station. Many places are within walking distance. The room is very spacious, airy, and spotless. Breakfast is also quite good. It’s a wonderful hotel in every way—I definitely recommend it.

Finally, I’d like to extend my special thanks to the hotel managers, Christian and Daniele.
They are extremely kind people. I’m grateful to them for their kindness and helpfulness. When we arrived at the hotel, they offered us coffee and upgraded us to a higher-category room at no extra charge. They also provide a welcome drink. After we checked out, dear Daniele gave us a package of pasta as a gift. We all share the warmth of the Mediterranean people :) When I visit Florence again, I’ll definitely stay at this hotel once more. Thank you so much again for everything.

Location of the Hotel is very good and lady on the front desk was very helpful.
