Convenient walk to stores and restaurants
Filthy, tight awkward spaces, sink not with toilet, have to carry luggage from an out of pocket paid lot, poor layout, no amenities
It was in a great location. Parking not available but it’s very easy and close.
I loved it. I don’t love the 10:00 am check out. I think 10 is too early for any hotel.
location
1. room is large, but very badly designed. toilet and bathroom are separate, but toilet has no sink, so if the person you are sharing the room with is having a shower, you can't wash your hands. shower stall has no shelf for bath essentials, which means you have to place them all on the corner of the bathroom sink nearest the shower stall and reach out for your shampoo and body wash as you shower. you can imagine how wet everything gets. there isn't anywhere to hang your towel or fresh clothes either, except for the hook on which the hairdryer hangs.
2. the crazy sliding doors of both the toilet and bathroom, meant to look like castle doors, flap and do not offer full privacy.
3. the hotel offers food and drink on the roof, which is fine. but the kitchen and bar on the ground floor only serves on weekends. in the 4 nights we were there, we tried twice to book a table on the roof and failed, and could get no food and drink service downstairs. and of course, no room service. fortunately there were other places to eat nearby.
Super continent location right in the middle of everything.
The sofa bed was not as comfortable as it could be and was very squeaky when you moved on it. I also would have liked a tv in the downstairs bed unit not just in the lofted area of the suite.
We loved everything! The staff was amazing
Staff was SO HELPFUL and hospitable. Room was comfortable...proximity to old town Salem cannot be beat.
The curtains in the two story room did not open so it was extremely dark...not my vibe.
Great location
Didn’t like the sliding doors on the bathrooms.
Everything - no complaints
Nothing
Only good thing about property is location
First - way over priced but I get it’s the location .
we stayed in a kind suite where there was a pullout couch on a second floor like a loft . There was a giant pole in the room with a table and chair so we couldn’t get the couch out . My mom had to sleep on the couch without the bed part . Horrible ! Also the tv was up there so no one could watch anything at night in bed down stairs!
The floors were all uneven and the toilet bathroom was separate across the hall from shower. The whole layout was terrible !
We also had been out and did not want the cleaning people to touch our room as we were only there for two nights - well they did and we had purchased items from goodnight fatty (a cookie place in town ) and the cleaning lady took them and threw them out when they were know where near the garbage ! They were sitting on top tour fridge !
The hotel offered to give us pastries or $20 refunded . We did appreciate that . But no one should’ve been in our room or touched any of our things ! So disappointing!
I def won’t be staying there again! I’ll find a nicer place in Salem . While it’s conveniently located across from most of the shops it’s def not worth the price ! You walk everywhere anyways .
Super sweet room and awesome location! Nice staff as well! Not busy season so everything was pretty quiet but I bet the rooftop is great in the summer!
nothing
