Nice place to stay for a few days
Pros:

The lounge area coffee in the morning and very helpful and friendly staff

Cons:

Room too small no place to hang up clothes and room was cold. No seating area in room

Great location for historic Salem
Pros:

This hotel is centrally located to all of Salem’s tourist destinations and not too far from the beach (if you don’t mind a good walk). Lots of great food options nearby as well.

Cons:

The room had three outlets, only one of which worked so with two people trying to charge three devices, we had to get creative. But otherwise no complaints or issues whatsoever

We will be staying there again.
Pros:

I have been in the group travel business for 40 years. Never have I left a hotel property knowing the names of staff members like I do here... Ashley, Julie, Tim, Billy, Brian, Cody. Whatever it is that Lark does to create an atmosphere where guests learn and remember the staff like that is doing it right. Room appointments and amenities are great, this location is great, the food and cocktails also great. But, what makes The Hotel Salem REALLY GREAT are the people there. They are providing genuine hospitality. This was our second stay, two rooms this time and a five star experience once again!

Cons:

It rained on Sunday. We do not blame the Hotel Salem for that.

Our stay was great!
Pros:

First of all, the staff, all the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Loved the Counter Bar for drinks and Apps. Ashley, our bartender is now our best friend in Salem! Cody at the front desk was very accommodating for this stay and helped us for our next stay when we have two rooms for Easter Weekend. Location is awesome, BTW!

I love Salem 🫶🏻
Pros:

Top gelegen, coole Einrichtung in einem alten, wunderschönem Gebäude

Cons:

Nichts. Wir kamen am Abend des Blizzards an.. viele Mitarbeiter konnten gar nicht zur Arbeit kommen. Die, welche es trotzdem geschafft hatten, gaben ihr Bestes für uns Hotelgäste!
