Manque peut pour être dans les très bien.
Pros:

Qu’une solution de chambre individuelle aie été trouvé même si une chambre de luxé familiale avait été réservé à la base.

Cons:

De réserver une chambre qui n’était pas disponible le jour venu.
Une erreur informatique était passé par là.

Heel centraal aangenaam hotel
Pros:

Ontvangst aan receptie was vriendelijk. Kamer deluxe 2 persoonskamer was zeer ruim en proper, wel met een kleiner badkamer (douche had een regendouche en een handdouche) hetgeen op zich voor ons geen probleem was. 's Nachts hoorde je wel straatlawaai, maar wij waren voorbereid en hadden oordoppen bij zodat wij hier geen last van hadden. Het bed was zeer goed en er waren drie soorten kussen beschikbaar per persoon waar je kon uit kiezen. Hetgeen heel goed was en bevorderlijk voor de nachtrust. Je kan 24u/24u beneden koffie halen hetgeen wel goed is. Aan de achterkant van het hotel is er een terras met tafeltjes en stoelen, hetgeen ik ook een meerwaarde vond. Ontbijt was ok, roereitjes, spek (jammer genoeg waren ze telkens wij ontbeten bijna allemaal op), yoghurt, cereals, twee soorten brood, witte bonen in tomatensaus, kaas en vlees en vooral zeer aangenaam vers geperst appelsienensap. Goede koffie ook.
Locatie in Doornik is zeer goed, heel centraal in het centrum.

Cons:

Verbeterpunten voor hotel qua kamer: het algemeen licht in de kamer is te beperkt, zodat het moeilijk lezen is 's avonds in de zetel. Een tafeltje onder de wasbak zou aangenaam zijn om je toiletzakken op te plaatsen. Nu is er weinig plaats op de tablet rond de wasbak om je spullen op te plaatsen. Met als gevolg dat je ze op de grond moet plaatsen. En een plaatje of iets anders waar je je zeep op kunt plaatsen. Dit is nu niet voorzien, waardoor je het zeepje op de tablet wasbak moet leggen en dat plakt dan vast aan de tablet. Dit zijn eigenlijk beperkte ingrepen die zouden moeten gebeuren maar die wel een meerwaarde geven aan de kamer.

Fijn hotel met goede ligging (centrum)en goede parkeer gelegenheid (parkeergarage) in de buurt.
Pros:

hotel is schoon en ontbijt is goed en personeel vriendelijk.

Cons:

De communicatie met het personeel, wanneer je geen Frans spreekt, is een uitdaging. Dit terwijl in de beschrijving staat dat er allerlei talen wordt gesproken. Het lukt wel, maar kost tijd en inspanning.

Nice historical building with excellent breakfast.
Pros:

Interesting building with nice courtyard in a good location. Excellent breakfast buffet. They let us check in at 13h, while official check-in is only at 15h.

Un hôtel très agréable.
Pros:

Très bonne localisation. Superbe déco des parties communes et des chambres. Très bon petit-déjeuner. Personnel très agréable. Bravo à Jessica qui a dessiné un joli plan de la ville, proposé en format carte postale.

Cons:

Notre chambre donnait sur une rue plutôt passante.
