Wonderful stay in Matsumoto
Pros:

Location and size of the rooms. The amenities were also excellent. Breakfast in the morning offers good value and a variety of western and local choices.

Cons:

Nothing really. Perhaps parking. We parked in an automated lot where cars are stacked in a purposed built building. Makes it inconvenient to retrieve items. A compromise for being in the centre of town.

Everything needed for a safe and convenient stay in Matsumoto
Pros:

Location and spacious room, comfy bed, kindly staff and amenities

Cons:

The bath flooded out the bottom of the tub onto the floor. This may have been because plumbing could not handle the torrential rains, nevertheless it was unusual. It cleaned up ok but maintenance may be required on the floor below (3).
