Pros:

Die Zimmer sind geräumig und der kostenlose Parkplatz hinterm Haus ist super zugänglich.

Cons:

Der Check in an einer Rezeption, die einem Messi-Zimmer glich, war irritierend. Während unserem Aufenthalt fand eine Veranstaltung im Hotel statt, die bis Mitternacht lautstark zu hören war. Wir wurden beim Check in nicht darüber informiert. Da es eine Art Männergesang Veranstaltung war, war es extrem störend. Der Check out war um 11 Uhr angegeben. Um 10 Uhr klopfte es energisch an unserer Tür. Es sei Sommerzeit und der Check out früher. Dass es bei booking.com anders steht, interessierte das Personal herzlich wenig. Sehr unangenehm insgesamt.

Great stay in a friendly hotel.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The food was very good & plenty of it. Our room was large and clean with lovely comfortable beds. The price was very reasonable & good value.

Cons:

The shower didn't work very well & was difficult to regulate but there was plenty of hot water.

Bodenständige typisch schottische Herberge
Pros:

Direkt an der Hauptstraße im Zentrum von Coldstream gelegenes gemütliches Pub mit Zimmern inkl. Parkplatz gleich daneben und einem schönen Biergarten mit regengeschützten Raucherplätzen. Exzellentes full Scottish breakfast und sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Idealer Ausgangspunkt zum bereisen der Borders Region.

Cons:

Ein paar Wandhaken neben der Türe für Regenjacken etc. wäre hilfreich

Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück. Abends könnte man im Restaurant oder Pub gut essen.
Das Zimmer war sauber, Bett war bequem!

Cons:

W-lan hat im Zimmer leider nicht funktioniert, aber im Restaurant und in der Bar.

Pros:

Everything about my stay here exceeded my expectation. The host and hostess were very friendly and happy to assist in providing space where I could accommodate my bike overnight. The breakfast were outstanding as was the food generally in the hotel. I found the general atmosphere to be really welcoming and would not hesitate in staying here in the future. A big thank you to everyone who made my stay so pleasant. Regards from Bob.

Overall, despite the noise, still good value for money

Good location, right on High Street. Free good breakfast. Free pet stay

Cons:

Being on the High Street, our room is facing the main road. With the window open can hear the heavy traffic throughout the night
