⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ World-Class Hospitality!
Our stay at Gozan Apartments Kyoto was nothing short of exceptional. The location is perfect, the apartments are beautifully maintained, and every member of the team was incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely caring.
What truly sets this property apart is the outstanding level of service. During our stay, my mother unexpectedly ran out of urgently needed medication. Irene, who was on duty, immediately took charge of the situation. Within four minutes, she had contacted us with a plan, arranged an appointment with a doctor at a local clinic, called a taxi that arrived in under ten minutes, and secured the appointment within twenty minutes. From the moment we realised there was a problem to having the medication in hand took less than 45 minutes.
The efficiency, compassion, and professionalism shown by Irene and the team were simply mind-blowing. In what could have been a very stressful situation, they made us feel completely supported and cared for.
This is true world-class hospitality. Gozan Apartments Kyoto doesn't just provide excellent accommodation; they genuinely care about their guests. We cannot thank Irene and the entire team enough for making our stay so memorable.
Without hesitation, I would recommend Gozan Apartments Kyoto to anyone visiting Kyoto. We will absolutely be back!
Lovely services apartments, the room was comfortable and the small kitchen was useful. The laundry services on each floor were a great addition. The hotel was in a great area, only a couple minute walk to the river. The staff were lovely.
One of the best apartments I’ve stayed in Kyoto so far. It’s clean, newish, friendly hospitality from the workers, my fav part is the bathroom rain head shower lol. Comfy beds, even a washing machine/dryer combo for your laundry. Free coffee and water in the lobby area. Location is very good, heaps of cafes, restaurants, e-bike rentals, konbini’s etc, within walking distance. Definitely be back soon !
The location is great. The hotel is exceptionally modern and clean. There is a very efficient kitchen at the entrance hall and then a sitting area (extremely efficient spacing) and then the beds. The bathrooms and toilets have the Japanese-style options which is always nice.
The only complaints are that it was a bit pricey because we were there during cherry blossom season and that the shades in the windows did not allow enough sun to enter the room (they were the sliding kind where half the window is always covered).
Location, facilities very nice
Very hard to control temperature. I was there in June and I was super hot at night and the AC wasnt working too well
Great location. Small Japanese styled rooms in a lovely, small hotel.
Staff: were incredibly helpful, helped us make some reservations for a kaiseki restaurant and assisted us with information for luggage forwarding.
Room: slightly more spacious than your typical Japanese hotel, beautifully furnished and had a very cosy feeling to it. Air con worked great for the hot nights!
Location: also amazing, right next to a train station and walking distance to a lot of hot spots.
Not so much didn't like but just for others to be aware, noise travels, we had no issues but if you're staying here please be mindful of your noise levels for your neighbours 🤗
Also to western guests, be aware the bed is fairly firm (standard for Japan and personally I prefer a firm bed so I slept very well)
Huge room compared to others in Japan. So handy having a washing machine/dryer especially after a week of travelling. The kitchen had what you needed and the beds were very comfortable. Was in a quieter part of town but still very convenient & close to everything.
Nothing didn’t like.
