Eco comes with a price
Pros:

Spacious apartments located near the Kyoto station and different konbini. Large bathroom, closeness of laundromat (but it was not that clean and modern). Shopping mall quite close with a supermarket

Cons:

1. During check-in we were notified about the cleaning procedure. Full cleaning happens every 3 nights (which you can cancel and get cookies) and towels are changed every day with throwing out garbage. This does not reflect a 4 star rating and the price paid for the room. Everyday cleaning, in our opinion, should be included automatically to be 4 stars

2. Our room windows were faced towards parking. During the stay there was a lot of noise outside which the staff did not address anyhow

3. Some of the amenities for the bathroom and the room itself were only on demand

4. Due to the irregular cleaning, the room was quite dirty. Floor was not mopped, some dust was seen in different places

5. Coffee and tea is available by request at the reception. However, the staff marks every time you ask for its limited amount. Also, to brew the coffee you need to take the filter cup at the reception. But you should return it if you are leaving or at the end of the day which is not really comfortable to do every time

Хорошее месторасположение, просторные комнаты, стильный дизайн. Наличие удобств в номере в виде мойки и кухонного уголка позволяет полноценно готовить без каких-либо проблем.

Cons:

К сожалению, видно, что в отель (хотя это сложно назвать именно отелем, скорее речь идет про апартаменты или апарт-отель) перестали вкладываться, и он превратился в «дойную корову» для своих владельцев. Экономия видна во всем: начиная от уборки (раз в 3 дня и то по запросу, то есть если не попросить накануне до 11:00, у вас никто не уберется; обещанного печенья за пропуск вы также не дождетесь, видимо, нужно напоминать) и заканчивая концепцией «1 чашка в день» (отель уже при заселении четко фиксирует, что на постояльца в день выделен 1 пакетик чая или 10 граммов кофе, это же отдельно подсвечивается в лифтовой зоне; создается впечатление, что персонал гордится такой концепцией, хотя для 4-звездочного отеля это позор; выглядело настолько нелепо, что не стали даже «объедать» отель). Поэтому общее впечатление — 22 pieces и 1 пакетик чая. Это не считая обшарпанных стен всех дверей отеля и не вполне качественной уборки в принципе (в номере пыль присутствовала на видных местах еще при заселении).

Pros:

Awesome staff, free helpful stuff to rent like a Dyson hair curler, and it's close enough to the train station with bullet trains stopping. Lots of food and shopping nearby too.
Good spacious rooms and bathrooms. Everything's super clean.

One of my best stay in Kyoto ever!!
Pros:

The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

We arrived after a red-eye flight feeling extremely tired, about 4 hours before the official check-in time. Our plan was just to leave our luggage and rest at a nearby cafe, but to our surprise, the staff informed us that our room was already ready and kindly offered us an early check-in. This was truly appreciated — and honestly my first time ever being offered early check-in in Japan, despite staying in at least 10 hotels across Japan over the past two years!

The room cleanliness exceeded expectations. I’m usually quite particular about bathrooms when travelling, and this hotel absolutely impressed me. The bathroom was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable — easily an 11/10 from me!

Overall, a fantastic stay and I would definitely return.

Cons:

I wished there was convenience store right next door. But it was a walking distances which is not the end of the world

séjour incroyable en famille au 22 pièces de Kyoto
Pros:

L’hôtel est parfait pour découvrir kyoto et ses environs dans les meilleures conditions possibles.
La chambre est spacieuse, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et très bien équipée. De plus, l’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé à deux pas de la gare de Kyoto.
Le personnel est très accueillant et très professionnel.

Pros:

Our family of four had very nice time in this hotel. Great location, 5 minutes from Kyoto Station. The room was beautiful, spacious with super comfortable beds! Staff was helpful and polite.
We really enjoyed our stay at Kyoto!
