Pros:

Great location, welcoming and friendly staff, comfortable and large room (certainly by Japanese standards). Perfectly located and close to the magical gardens. 15 min bus to railway station.

The room was surprisingly spacious, and I really loved the vibe. Very minimalist, clean, and relaxing. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. They have coin laundry, which helped us so much since we’ve already been travelling for 8 days and really needed some fresh clothes.

The location is fantastic. There are so many shops around, and it’s on a beautiful street, yet it’s still quiet and relaxing at night. Perfect balance.

One of the highlights was the music bar downstairs. We had two amazing drinks there and enjoyed the lovely music played from records, which made the experience feel really special.

It was our first time in Kanazawa, and this hotel and the surrounding area definitely added to why this city is now one of my favourites in Japan. We will absolutely come back and will definitely stay at Kaname Inn again. ✨🍸🎶

Pros:

Great location in the heart of Tatemachi, this cool and vibrant hotel has very friendly staff and great rooms. The music bar tops off the experience with a love DJ playing classic vinyl while you sip cocktails

The in-house music bar ...great atmosphere, beautiful sound system and selection of music.
Incredible sound proof, once we are away from the bar, we could not hear the music at all.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They assisted us in booking for restaurants and taxi.

Awkward arrangement of furnitures in the room; the bed was positioned next to a wall, sofa was too large for the room, TV was the size of a monitor
