Al Natural Resort enjoys a stunning location right on the water at Playa de Punta Vieja on Isla Bastimentos. The accommodations are intentionally simple, spotlessly clean, and blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings – this is precisely what makes them so charming.

The warm, family atmosphere is particularly noteworthy. The entire team is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Manager Michel and his staff are dedicated to fulfilling individual requests, organizing excursions, and always ready to offer advice and assistance.

The food is a true highlight: Chef Vincent conjures up outstanding, creative dishes of the highest quality every day – fresh, lovingly prepared, and absolutely convincing.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, nature, good food, and personalized service, this is the perfect place. A place to unwind and feel completely at ease – we would love to return.

We had an amazing stay at Al Natural Resort! The open-air houses with sea views are unique and unforgettable. We saw wildlife right outside (sloth, rays, sharks, birds) and even bioluminescence at night. The staff are super friendly, Michel is a great host, and the food from Vincent’s team was excellent—even for picky eaters. Truly a paradise, we’d love to return!

Un paraiso bien integrado a su entorno natural. Ideal para disfrutar días o semanas de descanso frente a la belleza del mar. La Residencia tiene todas las comodidades, las opciones de excursión están bien organizadas. Michel y su equipo crean un ambiente amable y fraternal. Todo muy bien acompañado por las comidas del chef Vincent.

Déçus car pas de plage, confort rudimentaire mais très bon restaurant.

The food was excellent, and staff was very friendly. Great place for snorkeling, every offered excursion was a unique experience we where able to see sloths, western night monkeys, red dart frogs, 2 baby dolphins along with many adults, reef sharks, jelly fish, sea stars and many fish species along with stingrays snorkeling just out in front of the resort. The insects/bugs where minimum during our visit in September didn't even use our bug spray. This resort could be difficult for those who have an issue with some bugs and wildlife visiting them in there room, however you need to remember this is a nature resort and you are sleeping in a bungalow in the rainforest. With this fact in mind the amount of bugs and such in our room was very minimal and did not bother us at all the rooms where very clean.

I loved everything about the hotel from lovely owners to incredible wildlife around. The seaviews from room were amazing.

Disconnect from wifi and stay here! Absolutely a joy if you have any love for nature. The food is exquisite btw, so you won’t be hungry for a minute.Relaxing but also invigorating! A big YES!

We were lucky enough to spend five wonderful days at Al Natural Resort. Our host Michel was fabulous and provided a welcoming environment to relax and recharge. Our hut had fabulous views, the chef prepared amazing meals, and the staff assisted us in finding the perfect excursions to go on. Nature surrounded us and the snorkling was spot on right outside the resort.
