Best Western Plus Buda Austin Inn & Suites

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We arrived very late at night, exhausted and traveling with our young daughter, and the front desk employee who checked us in was extremely rude and unhelpful. After such a long day, the last thing we expected was to be treated this way.
When we entered the room, we immediately noticed serious cleanliness issues. The bed sheets were dirty and stained, and we ended up having to change all the bedding ourselves. There were other areas that were dirty, poorly organized, and clearly not being properly maintained.
The lack of maintenance throughout the property was also very noticeable. Several things were broken or out of service. The coffee machine was not working, and even the elevator had parts that appeared to be held together with tape. Seeing the condition of the elevator made us genuinely uncomfortable and concerned about safety.
Breakfast was another terrible experience. The breakfast area was dirty, disorganized, poorly maintained, and honestly looked like a complete mess. It was certainly not what we expected from a hotel carrying the Best Western Plus name.
Overall, the hotel felt neglected, poorly maintained, and inadequately cleaned. Combined with the rude service we received upon arrival, the entire experience was extremely unpleasant. We took photos documenting the conditions we found. Based on our experience, I would absolutely not recommend this hotel, especially to families traveling with children.

The elevators are out of there last serviced/checked date. Both elevators have duct tape holding up the button panel; one of the panels has a “wet floor” sign holding the panel up.
The location is very difficult to get to after taking the u-turn lane, took multiple attempts to get to location.

Everything was great!

There was no hot water. Had to have several cold showers. Had to have several cold showers when we asked about it they said the hot water had been out several days and there was nothing they could do about it. also, the air conditioning unit in my room are broken.and had to move rooms. Staff were polite. It was not their fault they were just having to deal with the circumstances but the management or ownership could’ve called plumbers out even over a holiday weekend and by this time it was July 7 th so no excuse for cold water. If they knew this before we checked in, maybe they should’ve sent us a message giving us the option to cancel and book elsewhere.

I was visiting because of my sister's funeral. Got up to get showered and no hot water. I asked several employees and no answer. I later find out it was 2 water heaters busted. I leave go to shower else where and the key card stops working and my grandkids got locked out. I was so over it by then that I just checked out and had to pay for another hotel else where.

Decent location

Didn’t like the way that it had a nasty, lingering wet, musty smell as soon as you walked into the lobby, and it only enhanced even worse as you got into your room. The elevators and hallways to get to set room are terribly hot and the elevator buttons need service as a couple did not work during our stay also some of the access control i.e. doors that have magnetic strike mechanisms. Read the car correctly, but did not unlock properly rendering the door useless for entry and only good for exit shower pressure and temperature was extremely subpar along with the cleanliness of the restroom as we got towels that were stained, and that were rough and quite frankly just nasty also construction or whatever remodel of the bathroom was poor. There were sharp edges of caulking, broken tile, and it was just a mess. Definitely definitely will not be staying again unless extremely unfortunate circumstances require me to.
