Virkelig hyggeligt hotel med god mad
Nice hotel met all my needs
Really helpful making space for our cycles in a secure location.
Outdoor space is lovely
Good location so close to the Menai Bridge
Excellent choice at breakfast
We had breakfast on three mornings. The choices were excellent as was the food. Staff were on hand and helpful but not intrusive. When asked for a variation to the cooked breakfast this was given.
We had two evening meals in the restaurant: starters and mains. All were well presented and excellent value for money. Again the service from the staff was good, polite and friendly.
We had no complaints with our room, the service or the meals.
I stayed at this hotel for one night with my 7-year old during the Easter holidays. We took the ferry to holyhead and the main purpose of our visit was to see Caernafron castle. This hotel was a gem in the ideal location. An old pub with a small number of rooms, charming and comfortable. The staff were excellent. We stayed from 6th-7th April and I cannot remember the names of the staff on reception on the morning of the 7th. They were also serving breakfast and were just lovely. Very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!
Great location and comfortable
Lots of stairs
The breakfast was very good good choice
The only thing that let it down were the inside of the window frames needed to have a good clean and the silicone around the bath needed to be replaced.
It is right over church island on Menai straights a peaceful delightwith the Menai bridge majestically framing above the swirlls of the seaway between GWENETH and Angelsay. A wee historic gem
Too short a stay in this gem
Good good and bar areas, very popular.
