The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and attentive. The location was fabulous overlooking rolling hills and lots of sheep. Also, no problem with parking as there is a car park opposite as well.
There is nothing I didn’t like apart from the heat as it was in the middle of a heatwave
Accomadation, ground floor with outdoor seating area ,overlooking a field with lamb's comming to say hello, comfortable bed ,large room ,great food in busy inn ,we booked tables ahead of time for meals.
colazione ottima, letto molto valido
camera piccola, al mattino assenza di acqua fredda
The view and the balcony were amazing. Would be very different on a wet day. The food was excellent, great portions and very tasty.
The room is ready for a refurb.
Food good
Denial over our payments for lunch dinner and drinks cast a cloud over our enjoyment of the stay.
Great looking from outside old style pub
Inside needs work even lo clean room was a lot smaller than we see online when booking
holes in ceiling cracks and flaking paint soon as walk in room not a good look.
flaking paint on walls in bathroom room very hot and noisy and beds very hard uncomfortable
Love coming here! Wonderful position...so close to town centre and other attractions, but peaceful and scenic. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Always stay here when visiting Wales!
Maybe a little fridge in room, so that complimentary water is cold, in summer and a small bottle of milk would be lovely in fridge too
Excellent location
Full of character
No Tv signal
Bar closed too early 10pm
Great place to stay, great food, great setting and ambience, lovely clean place to stay, staff are wonderful .....its a must visit,we will be visiting again...
Setting,accommodation, food service,cleanliness
There was nothing to not like
From the moment we walked in we were made so welcome, the food was great, service was excellent, the room was great considering the age of the place. The bed was super comfortable and I slept like the proverbial log, breakfast was great too. 10/10
Nothing..
Super location, central to many North Wales towns and attractions.
Rural setting
I requested a room at the back of the hotel for quiet. It is on a busy road.
Good parking.
Our room upper floor- Overlooking the field of sheep and mountain view.
Warm welcome, attentive and friendly team who work well together to provide a comfortable stay.
The room was clean, no aircon but fan provided.
It would benefit from a net or voil curtain to keep out insects.
Food is homely, hot and well presented. Good choice and fair price.
We will be back.
The food and service was excellent. Staff super good
Interesting place to stay full of character with superb staff so helpful and happy faces.
The countryside views are beautiful but on a busy 60mph road so can't really say peaceful.
I stayed in room 1 very nice large room ground floor facing the road & car park with a wet room which overflowed everytime used which was annoying as had to use all towels and making slippy.. Which is no good for a disabled person.
Cleaners everyday were friendly and good.
Food superb.. Excellent choice I booked BB stayed 5 nights bit disappointed as found out afterwards could have been cheaper. Check prices on booking. Com.
All in all have a lovely stay visiting beautiful places.
The staff were very friendly , the room very comfortable and the food was excellent.
Although I love dogs I don't particularly like to share a restaurant with barking dogs !
good countryside location and good base for visit to Bodnant Gardens. Relaxed environment with good food and friendly bar
unfortunately there was a water main issue locally during our stay and on the second night the kitchen was closed and we weren’t informed until after we had had pre dinner’ drink at the bar.
Lovely setting nice views, friendly staff and good food
Excellent GF menu
