Pros:

The layout of the room

Cons:

Aircon wasn't working properly. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and shower. The kitchen tap was loose. There was a cocoroach in the kitchen area when we checked in, I had to ask for Doom. I was not impressed at all.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

False advertisement, they advertise stunning 1bed room for R650, when you check it, you are allocated a depressing dirty bachelor with no stove, the security is the one checking you in, they demand extra money, they call it security money in case you mess up something, There is a fine print, do not sign it, ask for a copy or refuse to pay that extra cost. I was not given copy so i refused to pay it, the room was depressing.

Upon checking out i asked the receptionist a quatation for a month on 1bed room, she took my email and promised to send me, she never did, it was much expected, unprofessional.

Odyssey single room
Pros:

Conveniently located close to Morningside shopping centre, which is a walking distance. Easily accessible and in a safe location.
The staff is somewhat friendly, security is great.
You have staff to assist you with late check-in and early check-out 👌
No issue with refunding the breakage deposit as well.
Room has wifi, aircon, hot water although on day one there was no hot water the entire morning.

Cons:

The room was being cleaned without any disinfectant at all, which is concerning because some guests could be carrying diseases and that would cause unnecessary issues.
Bedding wasn't changed at all during the stay (4 nights)
No coffee/tea/sugar refill.
Might want to look at these, such a big place but needs a little more care.

Great view of Sandton

Cons:

Loose charging portals, we had to disconnect the TV and put it on the floor so we could charge on that portal.

No smart TV so we couldn't stream nor use the TV. We had to rely on our laptops.

Water not warm enough from Day2 to shower nor take a bath. Had to heat up water on the kettle and dry bath, not pleasant nor cool at all.
