!Super leuke urban jungle style locatie
Pros:

Wij vinden dit een geweldige locatie. Beetje urban jungle style met leuke glas en lood en mozaïek accessoires. Het is een grote locatie met leuke bird watching voeder plaats. Perfect zwembad erbij. Genoten!

Nice hotel surrounded by nature
Pros:

Location & Property: The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Puerto Viejo, on the road towards La Fortuna. The property is very pleasant and well maintained, with the rooms spread across different cabins connected by paths. The setting feels peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy the jungle.

Room: Our room was clean and comfortable, although quite basic. The bed was comfortable and the room had air conditioning, but there was no TV or fridge. The bathroom was clean and functional, with a shower and basic toiletries.

Breakfast: Breakfast was fairly standard, with coffee, juices, and a selection of hot and cold dishes. Nothing particularly special, but it was more than enough to get the day started.

Facilities & Surroundings: There is a nice swimming pool, although we didn't get to use it because of the heavy rain during our stay. The property also has several paths where you can walk around and enjoy the surrounding jungle. There is even a pond with alligators. We went to have a look, although unfortunately we weren't lucky enough to see any.

All things considered, this is a nice place to stay if you're exploring the area or simply looking for a comfortable stopover. It would also be a good option when travelling between Tortuguero and La Fortuna.

We had a lovely stay! The lodge is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff was super friendly and kind. Highly recommended for families!

Don’t stay here bad hotel
Pros:

From check in to check out, the staff were unhelpful and the rooms were dirty. The floor was dirty the toilet was clogged the beds were dirty. Room was tight ac didn’t work and many bugs. WiFi was down our entire stay. Dirty and overcrowded pool. Terrible food. Location was good, close to the town which didn’t have much do. Gym was very small and outdoor with nothing to do. Pillows uncomfortable. Bats flying around. Although we enjoyed our service for 100 dollars a night spend more and go to another hotel.
Don’t stay here!!

Rustic Hotel
Pros:

We were on a tour with OAT. This is a rustic hotel with no amenities. The staff was very accommodating, and water and coffee was always available. Small room, clean, and adequate. Very pretty grounds. We went white water rafting here.

Pros:

Very cute property with walking trails, ponds, outdoor sitting areas to hang out your family members. Excellent blended juices. The pillows were a bit hard. A/C worked well. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good location near fun things to do like rafting, hiking, wildlife experiences. Located in a more off-the-beaten path authentic area of Costa Rica.

Fantastic location and grounds; food selection not up to the same level as everything else.
Pros:

The breakfast is set out as a buffet. Quality and selection were good, but essentially the same from day-to-day.

Cons:

While the food quality was good, the lack of variety was disappointing. Unless we wanted to get a big meal from the buffet, we were relegated to the cafeteria menu. Our first two days they appeared to be serving only from the lunch menu which had a very limited selection. Our last full day there was a dinner cafeteria menu with other options; the items we ordered off of that dinner menu suited us better than those off the lunch menu.

Really lovely property!
Pros:

Lovely and beautiful, very cool to walk in the trails around the forest, loved having our room and patio right on the river. Great pool.

A little on the expensive side after paying for room and breakfast.

Great atmosphere good birding
Pros:

Well maintained rooms and common area, very bird friendly. Our room was on the river which was great. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. There is easy access to several good birding locations from here.
