Eine tolle Unterkunft in der Nähe des tiefen Regenwaldes (Tirimbina), sehr sauber, viele Tiere
Pros:

Wir fanden die Unterkunft und die Lage super. Wir haben in der Anlage frei hüpfend alle möglichen Frösche gesehen, Kaimane, Eidechsen, eine Menge schöne bunte (grüne oder blau glitzernde) Vögel, Kolibris, außerhalb ein Faultier. Es ist eine Lodge, kein Hotel, aber sauberer als manches Hotel, in dem ich bisher war. Sehr sauber, was ich sehr wichtig finde. Auch die Betten waren topp! Das Frühstück war ok bis sehr gut, der Kaffee super. Für uns die beste Unterkunft bei unserem Trip durch Costa Rica. Der Besuch des nahegelegenen Nationalpark Tirimbina (krasse Hängebrücke) hat uns gut gefallen. Wir hätten gerne am Abendessen in der Lodge gegessen, da die Küche echt ok war, aber leider war eine große Gruppe da (die sich gut benommen hatte) und so aßen wir nur kurz, da wir Wartezeiten vermeiden wollten.

Cons:

Obwohl das Frühstück für Kinder unter 12 Jahren um 50 Prozent reduziert ist, wurde für unser elfjähriges Kind der volle Preis berechnet. Außerdem stand am Abreisetag ein Frühstück für sieben Personen auf der Rechnung, das wir gar nicht in Anspruch genommen hatten.
Die Dame an der Rezeption bat mich, die Rechnung genau zu prüfen und Bescheid zu sagen, falls etwas nicht stimmt. Es kann also gut ein Versehen gewesen sein. Als ich die Punkte angesprochen habe, wurde alles sofort korrigiert.
Trotzdem waren es insgesamt etwas viele Fehler bei der Abrechnung. Es ging um überschaubare Beträge, und ohne diese Punkte hätte ich die volle Punktzahl vergeben. Wahrscheinlich war es einfach ein Versehen, aber da es mehr als zwei Fehler zu meinen Ungunsten waren, gibt es hier "nur" neun Punkte. Aber die sehr verdient.

What you have achieved here is truly incredible. Wildlife galore, incredible food, super comfortable beds. 2 pools to choose from. Would come back to stay longer next time.

Ok for a short stop. Good birds.
Pros:

Came here mainly for birding. Had a lovely afternoon just sitting at the bird feeders. We did see some cool birds in there estate which was memorable and with no regrets we came here. (Jacamar, Jacobin, Kingfisher) It was not the most comfortable sleep but maybe due to the heat. Air con was good in the room but the bedding linens are fairly old. We also had a lot of critters in our room that we had “fun”getting rid of, mainly a gigantic crockoach and some fancy beetle that kept bouncing around in the room. Little lizards too, despite that all windows and doors were closed. Buffet meals and food was just average. We were hoping to see the frogs and the staff showed us where it was but there weren’t any activities.

Great place to stay for bird watchers
Pros:

This hotel has a lot going for it - two pools, caiman ponds, lovely grounds for bird spotting etc. Food was also really good here and drinks reasonably priced. Great place to stay.

Loved every minute.
Pros:

Spent two nights here on our tour. What a wonderful tranquil place. Our room was big I mean really big. Spotless and presented well. All staff were really friendly , engaging and helpful. Food was good I just don't understand how some people find fault but I guess they will find fault that's just how they are. Have a walk round, down to the river and the lake see if you are lucky and can spot the caimen, we did. The bird feeding area was a real treat with some amazing birds visiting. Thanks to everyone there for making our stay so memorable. Loved it.

Pros:

Waren nur eine Nacht, leider. Super schönes, grosses Zimmer mit Blick auf Fluss. Sehr viele Vögel an der Futterstelle am Pool. Ein Brüllaffe kam morgens direkt vors Zimmer, sensationell. BbQ Buffet und Frühstück sehr gut.

A VERY CONVENIENT PLACE TO STAY WITH GOOD ATMOSPHERE.
Pros:

This was a very clean, comfortable and characterful place to stay while exploring the birding areas nearby. The room was large and comfortable and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river with trees in the foreground and background. The food was good and when there was some confusion over the dinner menu, Beatrice sorted it out to our satisfaction. All the staff were pleasant. The bird feeder attracted a variety of birds and we got good photos there. It's worth noting that the tiles in the shower were slippery when wet. We stood on a hand towel when showering.
