Moderne Unterkunft mit tollem Pub nebenan
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt ein wenig außerhalb von Edinburgh, aber die Bushaltestelle ist in 2 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, und mit dem Bus ist man schnell im Herzen von Edinburgh! Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und nett! Das Zimmer war sehr modern eingerichtet! Es liegt direkt neben dem Cannymans Pub, sehr zu empfehlen, das Essen ist wirklich lecker und authentisch! Dort wird auch das Frühstück für die Hotelgäste angeboten, das ist typisch schottisch und wird frisch zubereitet!

Cons:

Das Bett war für mein Empfinden ein wenig weich! Und die innenliegende Bettdecke könnte erneuert werden! Ansonsten alles super!

Bett für unsere Verhältnisse viel zu weich, Teppichboden im Zimmer, mit undefinierbarer Farbe und offensichtlichen Verunreinigungen, kein Telefon am Zimmer (hätte lt. Angabe da sein sollen), schmale steile Treppe bis zu unserem Zimmer, zu teuer für die Größe und Ausstattung, Fotos zeigen Holzboden

An option to change the room temperature was easy to do. The welcome pack in the room provided a lot of detail to help understand the local buses, surrounding area favourites etc. There was no noise throughout the night, making it very easy to get a good night's sleep.

Exceptional stay!
Pros:

The place was immaculate. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was exceptional. Canny Mann's was a HUGE bonus for food, drinks and conversation. It's a half an hour walk to Edinburgh castle - very doable. Highly recommended! We loved it.

Stunning! A great place to stay 😊
Pros:

A beautiful boutique hotel. Stunning huge room, decor exceptional and bathroom to die for! Super clean and comfortable with great toiletries. A free drink in The Canny Man was a nice surprise too. Fabulous breakfast included and was delicious! A real gem 🤩

Warm welcome
Pros:

The room was bigger than normal, as was the bathroom. Warm welcome from staff, room had everything you would need.

Cons:

The roadworks outside! Not the hotels fault, but did impact our stay. We did our room was in the hotel on the side street, but it was above the pub on the main road.

The bathroom has no shelf so no where to put your toiletries apart from the floor.

Loved it, would love to stay again
Pros:

Great welcome from staff, heater on in the room, very comfortable and quiet. Spacious room, great cosy bed.

Cons:

A bit of a bus ride from the centre on a busy road, but handy to local shops and lots of local buses
