Very nice and modern 5 star hotel. When my reservation was made I was given the option to add breakfast for $5US, it's definitely worth it. No self parking, only valet but it's free (not anymore if you tip the drivers which is a must anyway). Private beach and location at the Palm Jumeira in front of the mall and monorail is a plus.
Excellent!
The only things redeeming about Dukes were the pool, multiple places to hang out (when checked out and the location)
The rooms and decor was so old fashioned, the bathroom had a smell with a broken toilet and a fridge opposite the toilet.
No sauna or steam room. The grounds had peeling paint all through. The lobby was poorly designed, always crowded because the front desk were super slow.
Thanks to patient concierges.
In the half board they did not have good food
Variety. In the breakfast they ask to pay coffee
The whole staff was friendly and they catered to all our needs highly recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for everything.
We stay across from the mall which is great if you like to shop. The hotel and beach was beautiful .
Loved the hotel location. Easy access to private beach. Hotel has a great indoor pool.
Staff was friendly and quite helpful in general.
Palm Jumeriah Mall is literally right in front of the Hotel.
Hotel is a little outdated, and there was a change of ownership during our stay.
Only thing we liked about this hotel was the location was close to the palm jumeirah mall and the beach. Other than that, older design rooms and balcony does not overlook the beach as we expected. Won’t be staying here again. Staff was very friendly however.
Staff members are very kind and caring, room service is very professional. Buffett breakfast has many selections and delicious.
Everything is splended. We appreshiated by good work of the personal. Aspecilly at the restorante.
.
We moved from the Anantara hotel to Dukes the palm as we heard a lot of goods things. We booked a room with breakfast for 3 days through hotel.com. When we arrived the hotel said they did not have this booking. A particular rude receptionist called Chris seemed to have a very poor attitude and didnt listen nor take our complaints seriously. Vikas and Asif were amazing and a credit to the industry and without their help my time on holiday would have been a mess. The pool is way to deep for children so you if you cant swim or have small kids there is a limited shallow end. Not a great experience and I wont be going again.
Was very family oriented hotel it’s our second there we really enjoy it the staff are amazing. Location is good
Check-in was quick and easy, which set the tone for a smooth stay. The pool is absolutely amazing, and the rooms are wonderful – clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I was especially impressed with the housekeeping team; they do an excellent job.
We did have a minor issue during our stay, reported to the front desk and it was resolved promptly and professionally. Great service all around!
The only downside was breakfast – it can get very busy. But with so many guests and lots of hungry people, it’s understandable.
Overall, a fantastic experience. Would definitely stay here again!
Great hotel, had a lovely stay here. Staff are super friendly and accommodating too.
Staff members were very helpful and respectful
clean and the stuff were so nice as always. great service:)
Simply amazing, only bad thing was our shower would take forever to drain and had a weird smell but overall the hotel is stunning.
This was our second visit because we loved it so much the first time.
Amazing friendly staff in every touchpoint are a credit to the hotel.
Arrived about midnight. No q at reception but the hotel must use a very antiquated system. Every interaction with the computer took the poor check in staff ages. Check out took even longer. It literally took 7 mins of tapping to check out our two rooms….there were no incidentals or issues. That should’ve taken a minute at most! Therefore there is a sense of panic at all times at the desks. The poor poor staff!
Rooms were ok but tired. Lighting systems and switches in both rooms were temperamental and old.
The lift call touchscreen devices are ridiculously complex, it’s too easy to call the wrong floor and therefore create delays in the system. Just go back to a normal call button system.
Breakfast was a chaotic shambles. The food was good though. The poor staff are overworked.
Lazy river had mould at tide level all the way round. It felt grubby. The main pool and beach have an amazing view, although again, the pool was damaged and felt grubby.
The staff try hard but are disillusioned and they are too busy to provide genuine customer service. The ambiance in the hotel is not relaxing.
The hotel is cheaper than most and it shows. Not worth it. We moved after one night to the Fairmont Palm 200 metres along the road. Far superior in every way.
